We only welcome one group of customers per day. Part of the building is the host couple's room, so the whole building is not rented out.However, the privacy of the guest's accommodation area is fully guaranteed. The neighborhood is a very quiet area dotted with fields and homes, and you can hear the birds singing in the morning. There are many sightseeing spots such as production direct markets, hot springs, and cycling roads nearby, so I recommend staying overnight. You can also go to Kamikochi and Hakuba on a day trip. It is surrounded by a quiet residential area, so please refrain from chatting loudly outside.Smoking is prohibited both inside the building and on the premises.Thank you for your cooperation. Parking is available for up to 2 regular cars. You can also rent bicycles (up to 3). If you are coming by train, the nearest station is Toyoshina Station on the JR Oito Line.From there, it takes 15 minutes by taxi, which costs around ¥2,000.Please note that we do not offer a pick-up service. 　 Nagano Prefecture introduced an accommodation tax on 1 June 2026.An accommodation tax of 200 yen per person per night will be charged, and from 1 June 2029, this will increase to 300 yen.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. This house is located right below Japanese alps, where you can enjoy outdoor in mountains, rivers and lakes throughout four seasons. We moved to this area from Tokyo because this area is not commercialized, but intact from urbanization. So if you are looking for something different than usual sightseeing, here could be the place to visit. This house used to be a ski ryokan, and we renovated it by ourselves with abandoned and local materials to maintain nice and old Japanese architectural taste.
