Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Orange County

We were there for two months while my husband had treatment at Duke. The place was very clean and as pictured. Our son came and stayed with us for the last three weeks. The house was a perfect size and layout for allowing my husband his own space when needed. It was an easy 10 minute drive to the Duke Medical complex. Communication with Nethania was outstanding. She was very responsive to our questions as we were getting settled in and to any other questions we had later. When my son wanted to grill, Brett assembled a grill for us to use on the back patio. The house was impressively stocked with all the little things you need when you stay multiple months. The neighborhood was very quiet and an easy drive to anywhere we needed to get to in Durham. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again. Thanks Nethania!

The house was very comfortable, sunny and airy, with a nice sitting area on the first floor. Chelston has thought of many things to make a family comfortable - games (Switch for the giant TV and old school puzzles and games), throw blankets, nice sheets and pillows, coffee, basic pantry supplies, and a thoughtful guide to the area. Check-in was simple. The area is nice and quiet and close to coffee shops and restaurants. We would stay here again!

Was a wonderful stay for a solo traveler. The home was beautiful, with stunning surroundings and very close to everything I needed. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay in this tranquil setting. We saw deer and loved accessing the Bolin Creek Greenway. Very convenient to shops and restaurants and Kenan Flagler, which my son came to visit. We also went to a basketball game and the Heels won in a nail biter!

Extraordinarily beautiful and comfortable, great beds and other furniture. Enjoyed a family of deer in back while hosting a family meal in the lovely great room. Very close to a forest trail and a great coffee shop. Close to downtown and to a nice neighborhood for walking

Anne’s place was exactly what I needed. Clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything in Chapel Hill area.

Exceeded our expectations! We were visiting UNC for my son. We were coming from out of state and knew very little about the campus. The home is LITERALLY two blocks away from UNC main campus and Franklin street. We walked EVERYWHERE without any issues. In addition Lyria and Stokely had everything available that we could ever need - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, a Brita water filter, towels, linens, blankets, coffee, and even a little snack basket. It was perfect! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay and for always being available to answer our constant questions. We will be back!

Great airbnb in carrboro. House was clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was great. Easy to find. Definitely recommend!

Velina was a fabulous host! We came to NC for a last minute weekend trip & it was the perfect amount of space for 2 people and a dog! Velina is a great communicator and gave clear check-in directions & tons of local recommendations. Location is close to both UNC campus and carrboro. Very quiet area.

Needed a place to stay while touring the Research Triangle area. This was a fantastic home base! The place is very cozy and comfortable, and it was easy to get to all of the places we needed to go. Easy and convenient!

Was trying to find places in the area with two bedrooms and just couldn’t find anything reasonable. Hailey’s apartment worked in a pinch with the extra big couches as an extra bed. There was plenty of space, great amenities, and was in a beautiful neighborhood near UNC.

Has a lovely stay here it was close to the places I wanted to see in Durham like the coffee shops/dining and the Duke garden, was enjoyable and easy air b and b experience!

Had a great stay here! It’s walking district to campus and lots of other key places in Chapel Hill. The space is nicely decorated with art. Additionally, Cheryle is a wonderful host. Her communication is great, she really went above and beyond to make my stay nice! Definitely recommend this listing.

This is a great spot! As a former Carrboro resident, this is a great place to come back and be in the center of town, close to nearly everything, and comfortably situated in a nice place. Amanda is responsive, keeps a clean and well-maintained space, and was friendly throughout. Highly recommend for anyone needing a centrally located place to rest during your visit.

We just stayed in Stacy's property and all was wonderful! The apartment was exactly as billed, in a quiet residential area, but close to lots of stores and restaurants. Stacy was extremely commmunicative with us, providing clear instructions for check in. The space was spotless, and the beds (as mentioned in other reviews!) were very comfortable. Would absolutely stay there again!

Perfect for our needs! The condo was immaculate and in a great spot along the Bolin Creek Trail. It was very easy to get in and out, and the proximity to UNC and other points of interest in the area was great. Would stay again!

Very nice condo in a good location. There is a little bit of a walk from the parking space to get to the condo which is up a flight of steps. Getting in with hands full is a little tricky as it is a small landing outside the front door. Condo itself was very clean and well equipped. The host was very responsive and provided great information. We will definitely stay here again.

Britany's place is a Tarheel dream. Close and walkable to campus and to the local bars and restaurants on Franklin St. We will definitely stay here again.
