Holiday rentals with a kayak in Périgord

Merci beaucoup à Sandrine et son mari pour l'excellent séjour que nous avons passé en Dordogne. Logement très agréable on s'y sent comme chez soi! Hôtes très sympathiques, disponibles et plein de bons conseils sur les endroits à faire ou non. Merci encore nous reviendrons avec plaisir!!! Camille Julien et Chloé.

sabine et Mélanie sont des hôtes très agréables et réactives, la maison est idéalement placée. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter des espaces extérieurs car la météo n'était pas avec nous, dommage ! je recommande cet endroit aux couples sans enfants et sans personnes âgées. Petit point négatif , les marches :-( Malgré les trombes d'eau, nous avons passé une excellente semaine , tellement de choses à faire et a voir.

Excellent séjour en famille dans le gîte du Bugue ; les lieux sont parfaits pour se réunir. Excellente communication avec Marc, dont les nombreuses conseils de visites ont été très appréciées. À recommander !

hote très disponible, logement vraiment impeccable. Explications claires pour les accès. Nous y retournerons sûrement car 3 jours c'était trop peu pour tout voir... Merci pour ce logement.

logement parfait pour un moment au calme. Le poêle à bois est idéal pour les soirées de mi-saison et chauffe bien la maison. La cuisine est bien équipée .

Paisible et agréable, j’y ai passé un très bon séjour avec mes enfants. Vaste et sécurisé. J’ai été agréablement surpris de voir que tous les équipements étaient très bien entretenus et permettait aux enfants de se promener en sécurité. Les activités sont variées. J’en recommande vivement !

It was a wonderful experience to spend a week in this beautifully furnished, gorgeous house. Lovely little market a few metres from the house twice a week. Stéphane was always quick to reply to any questions. An excellent base to visit places like Autoire, Carennac etc.

Perfect house for a large extended family group. Cannot say enough about how amazing this house is. Beautiful outdoor and indoor space including tables large enough for big groups to dine. Kitchen very well equipped. Utility room with pool towels, washing machine etc. We had some excellent weather and spent lots of time around the pool. Outdoor space including pool area truly excellent with inflatables, sun chairs, patio, gardens etc. Enough bedrooms for many guests, quiet, good Aircon if needed, versatile accomodation. The games room was a big hit on a rainy day! Food: All Monsegur- Salle a Manger excellent dinner for large groups. Chocolatine - local amazing bakery Local market (Friday AM) for local quality produce Activities - The Naked Vingeron; wine tasting and tour of the vineyard (English) Amanda and David were excellent hosts. Also Des-chênes-toi Aventure Adventure Park which is 5 mins drive and absolutely incredible! Overall such a special stay, thank you!

Nous avons passé un délicieux séjour chez Pascale. Le logement correspondait parfaitement à la description et l’accueil était très chaleureux. Le logement est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et l’environnement très calme. La région est magnifique et offre un formidable potentiel de visites. Chez Pascale nous avons profité du bain nordique très agréable. Et notre hôte avait toujours de charmantes attentions !

Lovely accommodation with everything we needed in the house. Village has a market five days a week in the square opposite the house which has fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese and some fish. There is a butcher, boulangerie and a general store (the Tabac). The local restaurant is good for a pizza or steak. You have to drive to other restaurants in the area.

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad op La Tuilerie Grange. David en Caroline zorgden voor een warm welkom. De foto’s op de site zijn al prachtig, maar als je het landgoed met de tuinen, de terrassen en het zwembad in werkelijkheid ziet is het in één woord fantastisch. Zeer de moeite waard om het zelf te ervaren. Ali en Wim, Ellis en David.

We had an wonderful time. The house was great and the garden is huge with an orchard in the next field which we could access. It is an absolutely beautiful place. We were made to feel very at home by Laetitia, Thierry and family (they were in the main house for some days of our stay and the rest of the time we were alone on the vast property). They were extremely generous about letting us use games and canoes etc and could not have been more welcoming to us. The surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful. The river is nearby and there are lots of possible areas for swimming as well as walking. We really enjoyed visits to Angouleme and Cognac and other pretty villages. Most of all we enjoyed sitting in the garden reading and relaxing and going running in small largely deserted roads around the house. It was a really lovely holiday and I would definitely recommend this highly and fully hope to go back again.

A stunning location and a great place to relax with family and friends. Peaceful river running behind the house that can be explored with boats and kayaks, very close to the town center- 15 mins by bike. Bicycles well maintained. Ron was a friendly host with great recommendations for local markets.

We had a wonderful stay with our two dogs. Ben made us very welcome, greeting us on arrival and showed us around the property explaining where everything was. The gardens were large and safe and secure for the dogs to roam. We also loved using the private smaller garden attached to the cottage for relaxation. The pool area was well kept and looked inviting but it was too cold to use. The location was very rural and peaceful with a short drive needed to visit boulangerie and restaurants. Ben provided a very detailed information pack with super recommendations for eating out and takeaway pizza. We used one of Ben's canoes to explore the Dordogne and he helpfully drove us to the start and picked us up afterwards. The house was perfect with everything provided and a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Some care was needed to access the upstairs bedroom due to limited headroom on the stairs. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay.

Maison bien équipée avec piscine commune. Proche des principaux intérêts touristiques. L'ajout d'un climatiseur mobile dans une chambre est une bonne idée. Il faut payer 30€ pour le menage qu'on doit faire nous mêmes ! Sinon l'endroit nous a plu et nous reviendrons.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille à la ferme. Le cadre est idéal pour se ressourcer, entourés des animaux , avec la piscine et le jacuzzi privatif nous avons bien profité. Un grand merci au propriétaire pour la délicate attention avec la bougie parfumée et les bons œufs frais.

Un cadre de rêve, un logement merveilleux, des équipements de très grande qualité et dans un état de propreté impeccable et un accueil plus qu'attentionné... et en plus, tout a été pensé et façonné-maison par les propriétaires. Tout était parfait, et même plus que ça. On recommande très très chaudement pour qui voudrait passer un séjour mémorable.

Ce gîte se trouve dans un endroit incroyable et d une rare beauté, les hôtes sont disponibles et amicaux. Je recommande !

We loved every moment of switching off at LaCabane and embracing the peaceful surroundings. The space is beautifully designed and well thought out, with everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. The visits from the dogs and ducks, a bonus! A special thank you to Stephanie, who was a wonderful host.
