Country idyll on the farm

Cozy apartment on the farm. The apartment is located in the Jurahöhen, a little away from the village, but still easy to reach by car and public transport (1 km from the train station). the surroundings are excellent for hiking, biking or relaxing. On the farm there are cows, goats, chickens, cats and a dog. Despite its quiet, rural location, the apartment is still centrally located, so you can reach the cities of Basel and Olten in 20 minutes or be on the motorway in 5 minutes.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Cozy 140 m2 house close to Basel

6 min to Basel Euroairport, 5 min to Switzerland (Basel) and 10 min to Germany (Weil-am-Rhein). Shops nearby (bakery, small supermarket, tobacconist, butcher, pharmacy, restaurants...) Free parking. The house is complete; Living room, TV, Netflix, Dining room, Wi-Fi (fiber), Equipped kitchen (dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven...), washing machine, spacious shower, 2 toilets, plenty of storage and a south-facing terrace. Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.
