Ravensburg (5 km) with 50,000 inhabitants invites you to go shopping and visit various sights. Very popular with children is the attraction park Ravensburger Spieleland (11 km). Breakfast can be booked for an extra charge.

Schwalbennest Ravensburg (Swallows Nest Ravensburg)

Our vacation home is located on the uppermost edge of the slope above the Schussental with views over the cityscape of Ravensburg and the vineyard. It is the “swallow's nest” – a small spot on the city map of Ravensburg that tells a special story.   We have preserved the former "laundry house" in which diapers were once washed for the children's home that was located there at the time, and have lovingly restored it to its former glory. The special flair of this cottage has been maintained.

Built in 1893, the Art Nouveau villa in the center of Ravensburg was recently renovated and the attic was expanded in July 2017 with great attention to detail. The train station is very close, within a 3-minute walk. All shopping facilities such as bakeries, butchers, drugstores, cinemas, culture and gastronomy can be reached directly on site across the street. Our kitchen offers a professional coffee machine, microwave, toaster, water/egg cooker, ceramic hob for cooking.

A modern bathroom with underfloor heating and daylight completes the apartment. A washing machine + dryer can be used for €4 per load.
