House holiday rentals in San Diego

Vanessa was very communicative & answered any questions right away. The location is PERFECT! A short walk to the beach. The house had so much for our kiddos to do & was fully equipped! Definitely kid friendly. The kitchen had everything you could need! The pool and hot tub were beautiful & clean! The downfall to the hot tub, is you have to turn it on an hour before you use it each time. I believe it’s new so they’re still working out some kinks with the buttons. Vanessa was helpful with this though. There are also apartment complexes that look down into the yard, so not much privacy. I would rate this a 5, but there are a few cons. We had 8 people in our group, 3 being children. Thankfully we were all family so we snuggled in, but I think it’s more like a 6 person house or you are on small cots. You’re kind of on top of each other. The floors are creaky so no sleeping in once someone is awake & the furniture could use some updating. It was torn. Overall the location makes it 5 stars

My group had an amazing time in KC’s home. It was gorgeous and very comfortable accommodations. KC was responsive and helpful whenever I needed to reach him. The kitchen was well equipped and the house in general had luxurious upgrades. The neighborhood was quiet and spacious for California. My group had 4 cars and the driveway fit everyone comfortably. No one was blocking anyone in. The master shower is a dream with two shower heads. The adhesive on the wall to maintain the door in place kept falling due to humidity but we simple just rubbed it back in place a few times a day. The 4th bedroom off the kitchen is smaller than the others and has a sliding door with glass portions so it’s not private. This was the only thing we wished was disclosed prior to staying since we had couples in each room and would’ve preferred everyone have equal privacy. Other than that we would absolutely stay in KC’s home again when visiting the SD area.

This home was perfect for our stay! Plenty of space for my friends and me, and it was in a great location - just a 10 minute walk to lots of great restaurants. Very clean, comfy pillows, immaculate vibes. Would absolutely stay again!

Carli's home was adorable, location was awesome for our event at SnapDragon Stadium. The entire home was clean, linens were great, the kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could imagine, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, spacious rooms, the outside area was awesome, while we didn't use the pool, but we did use the hot tub and the pool table which were great! The proximity to everything you would need is wonderful as far as Fashion Valley, restaurants, grocery, etc. I would recommend anybody staying in the area to stay at Carli's home. If I find myself in the area again, I'll definitely stay here!

Lacee's place was a great spot for a girls weekend. the 8 of us enjoyed using the spa and sprawling in the expansive dining and living room. All of the extras were more than generous and included good coffee, wonderful body wash and quality linens. Pool is surrounded by lush vegetation but that does make it a bit hard to get a tan. All beds were great, we did not need the office sofa bed and we're glad we didn't count on it, it's pretty spring forward, would love for that to have just been a queen mattress. We would all recommend and return.

This was a great place for my three sisters and I to spend a week of relaxation. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool, and it was worth paying extra to have the pool heated. Evenings by the firepit were also relaxing. While the place is setup for families with some of the beds being small, it worked out fine for four petite women. There is plenty of closet space to hang clothes, but no dresser or place to unpack things that don't hang up. The location is very convenient to everything we wanted to see and do, just a short drive to the beaches, shops, and restaurants. It was very comfortable, relaxing, and we felt safe. The Christmas decorations were a nice touch.

The place was fantastic and we had an amazing time! We had a few troubles of running out of amenities, but Jesus was able to restock and helped us the entire trip!

Jack was beyond awesome. A real cool host. A stand up guy that was extremely proactive with anything you need. I’d recommend to anyone looking to book here the place was brand new and spotless and near highways fair distance to anything you want to do

Me and my family had a great stay at Andrew’s apartment! The large patio is a huge plus. If you like peace and quite at night it really and mean really is quite after 10pm, near where the apartment is. And location is on spot as well, you have 2 beaches in either side of you in a walking distance, one is on the bay and the is facing the ocean. I would recommend anyone to stay at Andrew’s place!

Randy’s place was fantastic. It was as described and depicted in photos. Randy was a great host. He was very accommodating and accessible. The place was comfortable and clean. The living space/kitchen/dining area was great for our group of 6 adults. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and quiet. The location was amazing. One small block to the beach. The grocery store and coffee/bars are so close. We used the bikes, Prokadima and beach chairs. Such a great place for the price. Thank you Randy for sharing your place with us!

We felt right at home and was left with everything we could have possibly have needed. The host was very helpful and responsive. This home will be a great place to stay in the warmer weather too. We comfortable unfortunately could not enjoy the pool due to winter weather, but it was ready to go, if we were crazy enough to swim. We would definitely consider this home again in the future.

Charming little Cottage in a perfect, downtown La Jolla location. Walk to anything. La Jolla Cove and beaches. Grocery store and restaurants all in walking distance.

Great stay in San Diego! The home was exactly as listed in the photos - kitchen & living room were nice and spacious. Good location with quick access to food and things to do. Communication with host was also easy. Overall would recommend for your next trip to the area!

Helen's home was a perfect fit for our family trip to San Diego. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with all of the basics that we needed in the kitchen (spices, zip lock bags, condiments, etc.) and the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). The beds were all comfortable and all were well made with extra blankets and pillows. The living room areas were cozy yet functional. The hot tub was a wonderful way to unwind after running around all day - it was hot a ready to go for us when we arrived. Helen was very responsive and communicated well with us before and during our stay. We would love to stay here again! Bonus tip - There's a Dry Bar and Sephora in the shopping center down the street if you need to get hair/make up done for an event. We were in town for a family wedding and it was nice treat for us to get our hair and make up done.

Great place to stay with my family for a week while celebrating a wedding. Location is very walkable to stores, restaurants and both the bay side and ocean side beaches. The house had plenty of beach chairs, towels and sand toys for our needs. The baby gates at each stairway were a very welcomed feature. A large dining table allowed us plenty of space for eating and later playing cards. The house was clean, well stocked and Michael very responsive. We would definitely stay again if we were back that way!

Doug’s place was hands down the cleanest air bnb we’ve stayed in. We have family in the area so we’ve stayed in several others. Location is great for getting down to beach and also to the restaurants and shops downtown OB. Nice, quiet neighborhood with great off street parking. Very few steps to navigate which was great for my 80 year old father. Had plenty of linens for the week stay which is rarely the case it seems. Overall a great experience.

Erik's place met our needs. The location was just right - walking distance to water front and restaurants, and short drive to ocean beaches and further selection of restaurants. Always felt safe walking in the area with the family. Erik responded quickly to questions. The apartment was clean. We used it as a base for trips to the San Diego zoo and many other places of interest. Would recommend Erik's place.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. Traveling with a 4-year-old, cleanliness is my top priority, and Robert’s place exceeded expectations. The location is perfect - quiet despite being near the airport, and within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and the pier (even for a young child). Robert was incredibly kind, surprising us with fresh pastries for breakfast. I also appreciated the hassle-free checkout; no list of tasks, as everything is handled by the cleaning crew - a first in my experience. Robert was quick to respond to my concerns about the wildfires, and his reassurance made all the difference. Thanks to him, our San Diego trip was a great success!

First time my friends and I rented an airbnb together, great first experience. We loved the space and would definitely book again. Outdoor area is spacious and great to play games or barbecue. Indoor is cozy.

I needed to relax for a getaway weekend from work so I booked this place. First of all, Zapher is an awesome host, very responsive. The location is very peaceful and quiet which is everything I needed. The hot tub was super clean as were the beds and the entire house. There is an insanely huge garden that is so neatly arranged where I had the best time reading a book. I'm looking forward for another getaway soon at this location. Such an awesome place.
