Private Guesthouse with Bay View Deck

The one bedroom, one bath unit was recently remodeled (in 2017) and includes all new kitchen, bathroom, full size laundry and air conditioning. The large 400 square foot private deck has new outdoor furniture with views of Mission Bay and gorgeous sunsets year round. Enjoy a show on the 50" 4K LG smart TV in the living room which offers Netflix, Amazon Video, and major network TV stations. Cook a delicious meal in the kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove top, coffeemaker, and more. If you plan to head to the beach, the storage ottoman is secretly a "beach box" containing a couple of folding chairs, beach toys, towels and a small cooler. The unit is stocked with coffee, shampoo, conditioner, laundry supplies, iron, and more. Filtered water is provided via a faucet on the kitchen sink. Easy check-in via a numeric keypad on the front door with the code provided prior to arrival. Plenty of street parking is available. We love meeting new people and live next door in the main house so we are available most anytime. We are both from San Diego and still love to explore the latest new spots so we are happy to give recommendations. Bay Park is a great central neighborhood originally built in the early 1940s. It was recently voted the most livable neighborhood in a recent San Diego poll. Check out the restaurants on Morena Boulevard, which are just a few minutes' walk away or explore all of the major attractions of San Diego easily. The house has easy access to I-5 and is only 10-15 mins from downtown, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the airport. The private guest house is located across from Mission Bay and within walking distance to bay, market, restaurants and coffee shops. Uber/Lyft is $8 to $14 to most of San Diego's main attractions. There is a bit of white noise from the highway down the hill near Mission Bay when out on the deck but nothing too bad, just worthy of mention. The unit has double paned vinyl windows so it's quiet indoors.

Beach Cabin Guesthouse with Patio Deck

Our charming Seahorse cottage is steps from the ocean & beach --as well as nightlife, shopping and dining within walking distance (3 min). It is a studio with a kitchenette and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Included is WIFI, cable tv, parking and a patio to unwind. For the back cottage (seahorse) you will have front door access located closest to the parking area. Access to get in is via a 4 digit code that we manage for you. It is a code that will last your entire stay. Along with access, you will also have two parking spots for cars to park. Parking in OB is scarce so this indeed is a bonus! Your stay as our guest is our top priority. Even though we do not need to be onsite (we give you a 4 digit code that gives you a key) we are always available to you should you need us, via text, email and/or phone. We want you to enjoy your vacation but know that everyone interacts differently. If you need help, advice on places to eat, visit or even how to get there do not hesitate to reach out for clarification or advice. We love our city and cottages so we want you to have a wonderful experience while visiting our favorite beach --Ocean Beach. Ocean Beach is a coastal community northwest of downtown San Diego. It is bohemian in nature and brings a very relaxed and eclectic mix of visitors. The main strip on Newport Avenue is only 2 few short and flat blocks away. It has great places to eat, drink and sjop at the many boutiques. The best part of staying in OB is that you really don't need a car here--you can catch a ride with uber from the airport to the beach cottages for less than $15 or a cab, uber or lyft for a bit more ($15-20 to our beach cottages)

Private casita (studio) with kitchenette, day bed with trundle so easily can accommodate two singles or can become a king size bed. Very near zoo, shopping, restaurants, stadium, minutes from Sea World, downtown, convention center, Gaslamp, airport, beaches/bay. Immediate freeway access, 5 minutes to trolley, bus stop at corner. Great walk-ability. If you would like a taste of paradise & central location we look forward to your visit. Please no extra guests they may come to visit but not stay.

Fig Tree Bungalow

Enjoy your stay in San Diego in this newly renovated guesthouse. Centrally located about a mile from Hwy 8, Hwy 125, and the Grossmont Trolley Station & Transit Center. Only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown, the airport, the beaches, and most of San Diego's other popular tourist attractions. This cozy, two-story, detached unit is located behind my home, and has its own private entrance and partitioned yard for your enjoyment. There's plenty of street parking directly in front of the house.

Mike's House and Garden

The care taken to honor the atmosphere of the original 1910 house creates a feeling of another time and place. The house is secluded in a prize winning garden and approached through a stone pergola. This house is perfect for a private get away. There is a patio bar & a large picture frame window that commands the best views in the area. Sit & enjoy the large patio right off the entryway to the house. I have been told our home used to be a chicken coop in the 50-60's. It is far different now, we just finished a complete remodel. Everything is updated, upgraded & ready for you. Being on the top of the hill you get the nice views, but sounds carries as well, please respect the neighbors.
