n the heart of the Loire Valley, along the Thouet River: a 700 square foot converted barn (newly renovated) with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The house is ideally-situated in the heart of the Anjou wine region, a few miles from Saumur (well-known for it's castle and the French National Horse-Riding School, ''Le Cadre Noir'', wine growers, and troglodytes sites). Also nearby: important castles in Angers, Chinon, Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, as well as Europe's largest monastic center, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, which features an excellent music and cultural program. Other worthwhile day trips include the exquisite Loire Valley castles, such as: Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Azay le Rideau, etc. The house, which is about 187 miles from Paris (300 km), or about 2 hours by TGV, can accomodate two couples with children (sleeps six altogether). The appartement includes : an entrance hall, a large sitting and dining room with a small equiped kitchen, one bedroom, a bathroom, and a small bedroom on a mezzanine level.

La P'tite Troglo is located between Saumur and Montsoreau, between the Wine Route and the Loire in a wine-growing area. Quiet and charming, guaranteed for a relaxing stay. Atypical accommodation consisting of a friendly room (entrance, lounge area, fitted kitchen and dining area). Two bedrooms, separate toilet, a bathroom with shower/vanity unit. Charming accommodation, entire on 3 levels with private courtyard, terrace and shed for your bikes or motorcycle. On the ground floor, a 30 m2 living room (kitchen equipped with dishwasher and washing machine) and adjoining cellar. On the 1st floor, master suite (dressing room and bathroom). On the 2nd floor, two small bedrooms in a row and a small shower room. The whole is adjacent to our property. Possibility of access to the park (shared space), Presence of animals (dog, goats, chickens...)

You'll love my place because of the location and the ambiance. It is an old house made of tuffeau stone located in the heart of a troglodyte courtyard. The gîte has a fitted and very well-equipped kitchen but also an outdoor courtyard with terrace (barbecue, garden furniture). My place is good for couples, solo travelers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends.
