Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Schwyz

Dorina and Mauro were fabulous hosts. We arrived later than anticipated and they stayed up late to greet us personally and show us the space in detail. They are a very kind and charming couple. Their accommodations were spotless, extremely comfortable and private. We felt at home and had everything that we needed right at our disposal. The morning espresso on the patio was a very special treat. I would 10/10 recommend Dorina and Mauro and their lovely apartment to anyone traveling through or near Quinto!

Beautiful stay in a clean, cozy cottage in a quiet village with great restaurant. The garden and view were glorious, the host very helpful. Only the parking situation was a bit difficult. We will be happy to come back, thank you!

We had a lovely time in this great house. It has everything you need, including the kitchen is very well equipped. The playground in front of the house was great. Heidi and her husband are very warm hosts. We can only recommend the accommodation.

We had two small children on the trip with us and had some last minute unexpected changes with the reservation - Thomas was so accommodating and his home is absolutely beautiful and child friendly.

The cottage has a lot of charm and is absolutely quiet on a side street of the beautiful Höri. You can relax there from the 1st minute and relax well. Highly recommended for a holiday in nature and for relaxing. The house is also very nicely decorated and well equipped. Everything works as it should. We will be happy to come back!

My two-year-old grandson loved the many toys in the house, especially the cars. The house is well furnished and equipped. There is a lot of wood to grill what we used. The location in the middle of the small village is very nice. You should be on foot. There are several stairs to the apartment. We also liked the large garden overlooking you mountains. Overall, we had a very nice stay at the Casa.

Sarah was incredibly kind and helpful! She always responded promptly and helped us with all our requests! The place is really spacious, new and modern. Absolutely recommended for families, even with very young children. The bathroom is huge and the kitchen is very well stocked. We'd love to come back in the future.

Maja was friendly and available, lives upstairs and passed by to check everything was good and make any needed arrangements. There was extra care in little details, like leaving some swiss snack on the table for when I checked-in, and personalizing a welcoming note on the door. The place felt to me very much like home, is very peaceful (no cars/ streets noise if you have the window of the bedroom and kitchen closed), the window from the bathroom fazes the garden and you can hear the birds from there in the morning, it was lovely. Everything was clean and had a nice, clean, neutral smell. The kitchen had all I needed and more to cook every day, the bed was very comfortable to me, and there were lots of options of lights (different dense/ light curtains and smaller and bigger lamps), which gave me the freedom to personalize the atmosphere. The apartment is in a great location. Especially in front of the bus that leads to the ski resort. In addition, it has been very cozy, perfectly equipped and just right for us. Nicole is friendly and communication went perfectly. Looking forward to next time!

Nice & cozy place to stay. Comfortable beds. Top equipped (even table grill & fondue dishes available). Grocery stores and gondola very close. Thermal bath (Hotel Nendaz) is also very close. Heinz responds quickly to questions & is very friendly. We had a very enjoyable stay - thank you!

Can’t rate our experience at Janines place highly enough! She was so lovely and accommodating. Place was wonderful and Janine went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Would definitely recommend staying at Basecamp!

We spent 3 nights at Julian's place. He was a terrific host, helpful and ultra responsive. The place is in a great location and is well connected by Basel's amazing transport system, (bus and tram). The apartment is exactly as listed, very nice retro feel and a little quirky which made it feel that bit unique. Julian gave us great hints and tips and was kind enough to lend us some bikes which we used to cycle along the Rhine. The Basel travel card which Julian supplies is a real gem and makes navigating the city so much easier.

We had a pleasant stay at Monica and Stephan's airbnb. Clean apartment with all the necessities and quiet to have a good stay. Hosts can easily be reached by message. Thank you.

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

Excellent spot with a beautiful view. Plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen is well equipped to cook home cooked meal and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Check in was smooth and Gian welcomed us and showed us around. Highly recommended!

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how well the coffee ended and this without capsules. happy to be back in Patrizia's apartment.

This studio is fantastic. Large, super clean and comfortable. Very quiet. My husband was ready to move in! Lots of little touches to make life convenient like oil and vinegar at the ready. The location is super although it took us a day to figure it out. The parking spot is a great advantage. Leave the car (parking in town is super expensive) and walk down or take the bus or funicular. Grocery store also close by. Love the town which is also a great base to use to visit Geneva, Lausanne, Bern and many other places. Plus it is easy to spend 2-3 days exploring Fribourg. We would definitely come back and would rent this place again. We loved it!

House close to the historic center (free parking a few minutes away by foot). We really appreciated the brightness and great organization. Nice to find everything you need when you want to experience the house, from bath products to essentials in the kitchen (oil, salt, etc.). The precise and convenient recycling of waste is also called for. Perfect for visiting the area or skiing in the surrounding areas. Ezio and Katia were extremely kind in agreeing on an early check-in time.
