Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Sesimbra

This is an urban oasis in Lisbon. We wee lucky enough to book this over April 25th for Portuguese independence day and observed the incredibly festivities. Even without any events, the location is idilic and walkable to many great restaurants and historical sites. The plants make you feel right at home and the hammock in the afternoon for a siesta is heavenly. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Lisbon, it’s a dream!

This place is pristine, a wonderful oasis in the bustling city of Lisboa. We enjoyed how clean and spacious the apartment was and the added bonus of swimming pool and gym worked well for us. The local area isn’t necessarily within the popular tourist areas but there is a Metro station very close that gets you into the main spots in a matter of minutes. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in ‘Palácio Salazar’.

The flat is in a really nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants. The metro and bus lines are nearby so it is easy to reach both the city center and the airport. Claude was very helpful when I had questions about laundry and waste disposal. Perfect for a single person or a couple.

Really lovely apartment - even better than the pictures! Very spacious and so nice having the outdoor area on a sunny day. Great location across the street from a park with a really good playground, very easy to walk to fun neighbourhoods (plus good bus/tram links). Julie was so lovely and very responsive. We would happily stay again!

Cathy and Luis’s daughter, Julie, was the most amazing, communicative, helpful and delightful contact. She was always proactive, gave recommendations for restaurants and areas to explore, you couldn’t ask for anything more from her, everything was exceptional and the accommodation matched the photos exactly, beautiful 🤩🤩🤩

Our group of 7 including young kids had a great stay here. The place was just like the pictures with lots of space for everyone and walkable to lots of restaurants, parks, and the Time Out Market. As other reviewers have mentioned, the street noise was significant with lots of construction/hotel parties/street noise.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location is perfect: very central, lots close by including many great coffee shops and restaurants. Time out market 10 minutes. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and super clean. It had everything we needed and more. Ricardo was very responsive, helpful and generally very flexible and kind. He met us on our arrival, even waiting when we were delayed due to long passport queues. Highly recommend staying here for your Lisbon trip!

My stay here was perfect! The place looked just like the photos and it was only a 15 minute walk to the center and a 5 minute walk to many cute cafés. Nuno and Isabel were very responsive and gave us many recommendations. They also left Portuguese coffee for us to try and it was delicious!

We enjoyed Natasha's apartment. João's welcome was warm and he told us everything about the apartment and the area in which it is located. Our son loved the pool after a day in Lisbon. It is a pity that the end of our stay in Lisbon ended differently than we had expected due to the power failure. But the memories of the nice stay in the apartment make up for everything.

Great location, a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. Catarina is good in communication and she was flexible with check-in and check-out. Just keep in mind that area is rather hilly and sidewalks are narrow. Five out of five experience.

The view is just amazing!! The apt is very nice! You do have to walk a bit to restaurants and beach but it’s really nice. Plenty of restaurants and bars. There are a couple challenging hills but I’m 65 and could manage.

Althought we only stayed for a night, Jacqueline's place was a great break from the hustle of Lisbon. It was clean and she even contacted us to make sure we were comfortable during the stay.

The location is near to the Metro and there is a lot of buses going to the city

The property was great - living area exceeded expectations, was clean and spacious with great access to the (very nice) pool (and I presume gym but we didn't use it). The property is a great base for visits to local beaches, restaurants & supermarkets and further afield for trips into the centre of Lisbon. Although accessable by public transport or taxis we found having a hire car was very helpful. The best part of this property is the host João, who was very communicative from before arrival and beyond departure, giving clear instructions, good local advice and helpful links to amenities and landmarks both locally and in Lisbon. He went well above and beyond and was responsive to any questions and was keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I have no hesitations in reccomending this property and João as a host.

The house is beautiful, everything works perfectly well. We had only one problem, on the last day the hot water failed and it did not return until we left. Unfortunately on this day the host did not respond promptly as usual and the solution presented did not work. However, I considered this problem to be something punctual, since the house was wonderful and everything worked very well. So I think it was an isolated situation and I didn't let it influence mew review in general. I recommend the house and would return peacefully. Everything was very well presented, the house is modern, super clean, excellent bathroom, perfect shower, my passengers loved it.

Magda was very welcoming, responsive, caring and even made the effort to speak French when we arrived! The environment on the farm was totally exotic. We would totally recommend!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The house is stunningly designed. We especially loved the huge windows with stunning views of the garden. The towels and bed sheets were of amazing quality, the kitchen was fully equipped, the TV projector was amazing and the fact that the garden is so huge you that can go for a walk in it is mindblowing! And even though the weather wasn't sunny, the low clouds added a cozy atmosphere that made our stay feel even more special. Dinis was always responsive and available to answer any questions. The only thing was that while the listing mentioned parking on premises, it wasn’t available for us during our stay. This led us to park on the narrow, bumpy street outside. However, this was a minor inconvenience, and it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time here. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this place!

We felt like home in this beautiful place. Xana and David were the best hosts, very friendly, caring and sharing tips of all kind (restaurants, beaches, shopping etc). Our hosts left many (beach) toys for our 2-year-old, which was great to play with. The house was super clean and comfortable. We will surely come back! Thanks a lot!
