Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Solingen

A wonderful house with beautiful surroundings. We've loved our stay in Solingen! Anna and Max are very friendly, helpful and sweet. We highly recommend it.

Michael's house is very nicely decorated. There was nothing missing, the kitchen was very well equipped, everything was picobello clean and new. For six people an optimal property and not far from Cologne or Düsseldorf. We will definitely be back. We enjoyed it very much.

The second time, it was breathtaking again. We love it there!!

Comfortable, well-equipped house on a hill. Good kitchen. Everything you need is available. Bedrooms with a view over the valley. A good place for sight-seeing.

Karin was a wonderful host, with excellent communication and her local recommendations were perfect for our family. We travelled with 4 children between the ages of 5-15 and the yard with the swing was used by all of them. Our current property is not built with a yard, so watching them happily explore a garden was a beautiful experience. The kitchen, linen, laundry and bathroom amenities were fantastic, the heated floor in the bathroom was a family favourite and the kids have now asked that we install one at home. The height clearance of the second floor was exactly as described and my very tall partner (189cm) managed with the ducking. You can walk around the neighbourhood and see the great relationships the neighbours have with each other, getting to be around for Tag der Arbeit was a highlight, seeing the expressions of love via the brightly decorated trees and branches. The delightful forrest located just a 5 minute walk from the home was a favourite of mine.

Enchanting cottage,quiet location and great furnishings! There's nothing missing. With lots of spiritual touches, a magical little oasis has been created. Just something else very clean with a wonderfully comfortable bed. We felt very comfortable and so did our 🐾dogs ❤️clear recommendation ❤️👌👌👌👌👌

Green, private, hiking, quiet, beautiful balcony, perfect for our dog! Had a really relaxing couple of nights away from the city.

The apartment is really nice and cozy. Everything very lovingly and tastefully furnished, wonderfully clean and everything you need. Really great. Check-in was also straightforward and all the instructions were helpful, so you found your way right away. The apartment is nice and quiet due to the orientation to the back and you can park on the street without any problems. We particularly loved the shutters, through which you can really completely darken the rooms. A large supermarket with bakery is in walking distance. Sabine and Oliver are available at any time and very friendly. We felt completely comfortable!

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. We spent 2 nights in Jutta's place. She was an absolutely lovely and welcoming host. The accommodation itself is also a real gem, close to Cologne. I sincerely thank Jutta for having us and showcasing her lovely farm and highly recommend to other guests!

It was the first time but I'm pretty sure I will visit again. Flexible check-in time. Clear instruction. And most importantly a clean house. Denifinitely recommend.

We spent a wonderful few days in Renate's apartment as a family of four. The location is great – quiet yet central. The apartment offers plenty of space, is comfortably furnished and especially the living room invites you to relax. The kitchen is excellently equipped, we didn't miss anything. Also the mattresses were very convenient – we all slept well. We are particularly grateful to Renate because she accommodated us at short notice – that was really not self-evident. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Just great. Communication was great from booking to departure, straightforward and fast. The connection to Cologne was straightforward. Frank and his wife were very nice. Should we visit this area again, we would check in again at any time.

We spent the Easter weekend with 6 people and a toddler. Manfred was extremely courteous and helpful. The place was incredibly beautiful, well equipped, very clean and also very lovingly furnished. The surroundings there are fantastic! Child-friendly was also just great. We had a perfect stay and would fully recommend this place! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful house for an unforgettable weekend away with our friend group. It was our own private castle! Large rooms, comfortable beds, and kitchen and bathrooms were large, clean and well equipped. We were greeted very friendly by the house’s caretaker and contact during and after our stay was very pleasant and friendly. Two small remarks: some of the rooms didn’t have curtains or blinds to block out daylight, and in some rooms the light switches were not working properly or confusing to use. But those are just minor issues because we had an amazing time in the villa. Thank you!

Super chill home, with great ambience. The home set up was perfect to cook, eat and relax together. Will definitely be coming back.

For our JGA we booked this place for one night. We were 13 people, room was more than enough for everyone. Rooms were all clean, there were plenty of towels for everyone. About the location: as already described in some reviews before me, the house is located in a residential area and is a semi-detached house. Therefore, it should also be noted that you cannot/should not make noise until the end of the day. We talked to the neighbors before and were still partying around 11:30 pm. Until then, no one complained about the volume and we were certainly not quiet on the road. The garden is nice and large, the hot tub well maintained. The house itself is also in good condition, the bathrooms in the rooms are "newly" renovated. Check in / check out went smoothly, the hosts are very nice. All in all we had a great time and with the house the perfect accommodation for the JGA, thank you.

We hosted an offsite event at Silvia and Manfred's for the second time. Like last time, everything was spotless. The two are super friendly, and the house is perfect. We'd love to come back next time :)

Located on the edge of the forest, with a large lounge with a fireplace and views of ponds, meadows and forest, the Forest Lodge was an ideal place for us - 5 people with a dog - an ideal place for a reunion over the turn of the year. A nice place for a few days in quiet surroundings that invites you to walks, chats by the fireplace, reading at one of the large windows, cooking and eating together. Sincere thanks for the well thought out hospitality!

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.
