Great chalet in the immediate vicinity (5 minutes by car) to the ski slope St. Oswald/Brunnach, where there is ski rental, children's ski school/ski kindergarten and gastronomy directly on the slopes, as well as parking. We were there with two families in the New Year's week (4 adults, 4 children aged 4, 6, 8 and 9 years) and the house is exactly as described and very comfortable. Particularly noteworthy is that the house gets very warm (oven, partly underfloor heating), and there was always enough hot water for showering or bathing. We've experienced all of this differently. All service providers were super friendly, from the woman in the toll booth on the highway to the service in the restaurant despite rush hour. The ski kindergarten delighted our little one, so we could go full throttle on the slopes for a few hours in the morning (slope recommendation 20, 22 and 28 for carving for advanced skiers). Thanks Nora for being so accessible! We can only recommend your house!

The best host of Airbnb that we ever met: warm and friendly. The house is like a castle, it's very peculiar and set in a quiet place; you are literally surrounded by nature and we were lucky enough to see the stars were well at night It doesn't take much by car if you want to visit the Kaerten lakes from there, and cities like Spittal and Lienz. Thank you very much Hetty!

The villa is beautiful, modern, and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Everything related to the villa was perfect, from the parking space for four cars to the spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. The living room with the fireplace and kitchen added to the overall enjoyment. The terrace and garden with a barbecue are a special highlight, where we spent most of our time, enjoying the stunning view. We would definitely return again.

We spent a wonderful 6 days here celebrating Christmas with three generations of the family. The house surpassed our expectations. Every room is spacious, cosy and flooded with light and fabulous views.

Fantastic place - fantastic location. Without exception, everything is super clean, super tidy and furnished with attention to detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you could think of and much more. The bathrooms are luxurious, the rooms stylishly furnished and the kitchen more than generously equipped. The location of the property is in the middle of nature, in the mountains, absolutely quiet and relaxing - perfect for a vacation with friends, but certainly also for families! Nevertheless, you can reach, for example, Lake Weissensee in 35 minutes and the large ski resort "Nassfeld" in 1 hour by car. The landlady is very nice, incredibly accommodating and provides you in advance with all the necessary information regarding arrival, surroundings, etc. Our expectations were completely exceeded. We were a group of 8 friends and definitely recommend the place! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a traffic complication at check in and that's why we were driving late. It wasn't a problem either (we apologized on the phone). The hosts occupy the upper floors and welcomed us very warmly. They also prepared a welcome gift for us in the form of fresh food for breakfast and a Carinthian beer for refreshment along a strenuous journey. Throughout the stay, the hosts were very welcoming and gave us tips on local highlights. They are active people who like dogs (they have a brown labrador). They played with our dog. Hygienically, there was no overwhelming luxury and the location of the basement apartment was evident. Otherwise, absolutely perfect. Especially the layout. Two bedrooms and a living room from each of this room large french doors to the great garden that we had all at our disposal. At the end of the garden a typical mountain river with clean and cool water. We used it for bathing and splashing (just swimming in the stream). A kitchen fully equipped with dishes and an electric kettle. Coffee dripper. Toaster.

We stayed in a spacious and very cozy apartment equipped with everything we needed. The access to the lake is great, there are two trampolines for children, stand up paddles and even a pedal boat to rent. Anton and Margot are two extremely gracious hosts who care a lot and have made a lot of things possible. We felt very comfortable in Haus Bichel and will definitely return. The nearest vacation is already booked. Thanks again to Margot and Anton!

We had a wonderful stay at Eleonora’s place! The hospitality was exceptional, and Eleonora is a very kind, friendly, and helpful person. The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean, and had everything we needed. Eleonora’s kindness and attention to detail made our trip even more special. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience.

Perfect destination for family vacation

Fantastic family vacation in the middle of the mountains! We were warmly welcomed by the hostess Elisabeth and were able to check in flexibly by short arrangement. The Cosy Alpin apartment offers enough space for the 3 of us and is simply super nice and cozily furnished - the direct view of the mountains completes this perfectly. The outdoor area (fireplace, conservatory, dog area) is also designed with a lot of love for detail and invites you to cozy hours under the enchanting starry sky. We received great tips for excursions in the area and otherwise you could contact Elisabeth at any time. Thank you for the hospitality - it was a completely successful holiday. Alexander and Stanzi are absolutely exemplary and very nice hosts. The time in the accommodation was really fun, especially the option to use hot tub and sauna:). We felt at home at the place. Everything was as on the pictures and as described... the expectations were still exceeded.

The apartment was as in the photos, very clean, we felt very comfortable. The only downside: you have very little storage space, both in the wardrobe and in the kitchen. Also the check-in worked smoothly. All well described, communication 1A. We would recommend it and come back again!

Tanja and her in-laws, who manage the cottage, are very friendly and helpful. The location is of course fantastic and the cottage very nice. It should be noted that the electricity is provided by generator and is only available at a very reduced rate (light) between 9 PM and 6 AM. The heating is a furnace heater, which is good to know at this altitude and the temperatures there. Communication was good. The journey can be a little intimidating if you are new to the mountains - the navigation system says 100 km/h on mountain roads and thus calculates the travel time earlier. But you're more likely to be traveling at 30-50 km/h. It's good to find your way

We had a fantastic stay at Daniela's and her family's place.... The cottage is located approx. 10-15 minutes' walk from the farm, but can also be reached by car, however snow chains are recommended in winter. We were traveling with our 3-year-old son who loved the stay. The cottage is lovingly decorated, everything is available for self-catering. The living room is heated with an oven, which gave us great pleasure. The area is worthwhile for excursions of all kinds, tobogganing, ice skating, etc. Good restaurants are also nearby (10-15 min. drive). The stables of the farm were freely accessible, there is fresh milk and very trusting cats. A special thank you goes to Grandpa Friedel, who also took great care of us. Finally, a hot bath under the clear starry sky was really great. We will be back :-)

It was a dream and exactly the vacation we wanted. It is exactly as described. A beautiful mountain cabin - we were there for ourselves and could enjoy the tranquility and just completely switch off. Everything is clean, and the heated pool outside was the greatest luxury for us. We sat in the warm water in the evening and looked at the stars. The road up the mountain is, as others have already written, a real mountain road, but for me with a normal car it was quite feasible. Arrival and departure also worked out great, Madlyn picked us up down the street and accompanied us to the hut. I truly recommend this place!

The host was great, he was very polite and was ready to adapt to our needs. The house was very cozy and beautiful. The location is great if you are planing to travel by car otherwise it is quite remote.
