Stallet

The small stable that is from the 1600s has been converted into a small guest apartment. There is no running water here, but there is an old-fashioned charming little kitchen with modern equipment. The toilet consists of a modern incineration toilet. A shower with hot water is available in an adjacent building. The farm is located in a quiet ancient village surrounded by forest and arable land, but with idyllic Mariefred and Gripsholm Castle around the corner. On the farm, you get along with dogs, cats, chickens and beehives.

Are you a group looking for a rural accommodation by Lake Mälaren, which has a private beach and large areas with all the amenities available? Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and has undergone an extensive renovation in the last year to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/marina, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity to both nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

Ekbacka Lake house - Cabin with lake view

Newly built modern cabin in the woods with amazing lakeview. The house was built in 2020 and is located on a hill near Lake Mälaren just 1 hour from Stockholm. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of them with double bed and 1 with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have black out curtains so that the bedroom gets completely dark. 1 bathroom with a toilet and 1 guest toilet. There is also a newly built sauna.A large living room / kitchen with an amazing view through the large windows. Parties are not allowed.

Orangeriet

Welcome to the idyllic and picturesque Mariefred, our pearl of the Mälaren, and to our orangery! Orangeriet is located in central Mariefred at Strandvägen 15. Just as the address reveals, it is close to swimming but also nice restaurants and shops. Here in the kitchen, Leila Bakers was recorded once upon a time, so if you like to cook, the kitchen is well-equipped! There is a patio to eat, have a cup of coffee or sunbathe. Two separate 120 beds and a sofa bed, shower, toilet, etc. Welcome!

Högberga gård

Come and stay in our cozy 19th century house in the heart of the farm. Skating in cold weather and sledding in lots of snow in the yard. * Access to wood-fired sauna is available for SEK 100 per time. * Barbecuing at the log cabin in the adjacent forest is possible. * Beach at Lake Mälaren is a few kilometers away. * Strängnäs city center is about half a mile from the farm. * Bed linens and towels are brought by the guest, but can be rented for SEK 50 per guest. Pre-booked.

Unique wildlife cottage.

Located in the woods with a view over the lake Mälaren you can live in an off-grid cabin life. Take a break from the city's hectic life, go back to nature and enjoy Sweden in a unique way. We call the cabin "Bergabo" and really enjoy sharing it with people who appreciate the nature and the simple life as much as we do. Summer in beautiful Mariefred

A calm, quiet area in Mariefred. Suitable for families with children. The house has got a big lawn and a playground nearby. The city center with streets of cobbles goes back to the 17th century and has cafees, shops and restaurants. Take nice walks by the small harbour to Gripsholms castle which is only ten minutes away from your house. Our lovely capital city, Stockholm, is 40 minutes away with train or 50 minutes by car.

Hidden gem right next to Lake Mälaren. Fantastic house on a natural plot with a view of Norrfjärden. The house was built in 2018 and is located a stone's throw from Lake Mälaren. There are 3 bedrooms with a master bedroom with large glass part facing the lake. Large bathroom with washbasin. Social kitchen and living room with open floor plan and a fireplace. Now with a guest house with sauna and separate toilette.

A charming guest house of 22 sqm with sofa bed and sleeping loft out in the countryside. Around the house is a chicken coop, garden and views of scenic Taxinge. With just under 2 km to Taxinge Castle, there are good opportunities to experience the "tile castle" through a walk or short drive. Great starting point for traveling around and discovering Södermanland's nature, but also Greater Stockholm.
