Here you live in the quiet and peaceful village of Elma with fields and meadows all around, just a 10-minute walk to Lake Mälaren. Enjoy your morning coffee outside the cottage with a view of meadows and fields, take walks in the surroundings or make an excursion in beautiful Sörmland! On cold days, it is cozy to light a fire in the two fireplaces - firewood is included!

Stallet

The small stable that is from the 1600s has been converted into a small guest apartment. There is no running water here, but there is an old-fashioned charming little kitchen with modern equipment. The toilet consists of a modern combustion toilet. Hot water shower is available in an adjacent building. The farm is located in a quiet, old-fashioned village surrounded by forest and arable land, but with idyllic Mariefred and Gripsholm Castle around the corner. In the yard, you can interact with dogs, cats, chickens and beehives.

The magazine in Tuna, has finally come back to life! Newly renovated and decorated to be able to offer cozy accommodation in the countryside. Come a long weekend with friends, cook around the kitchen island or book a private dinner in the "Farm House". It is a beautiful environment where you are happy to take walks, a bike ride or swim in Mälaren. The magazine is secluded from the host's residence, with its own driveway. Come and enjoy peace and quiet, or visit all the exciting sights of Mariefred or Strängnäs.

Are you a party looking for a rural home by Lake Mälaren, which has private beach and large areas with all the amenities available? Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and in the last year has undergone an extensive renovation to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/boat place, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity both to nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away there are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

The guest cottage of 45 sqm is decorated but a charming feel of the 19th century. In the small room, you get a feeling of Orient Express with two simple beds, lamps, and old wallpaper. In the living room there are 2 more single beds dining tables. Cooking is on a step kitchen and an outdoor gas grill is available. We provide bedding, towels and staples

Stay in a nice old log cabin, originally from the 1600s, which is carefully and tastefully decorated for relaxation and coziness all year round. With a nice reading and writing corner, a dinner nap-friendly kitchen sofa, well-stocked pantry for breakfast and coffee, and a nice fireplace for warmth and company. The bed is made, just crawl in and sleep well.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Enjoy the silence and nature. Just 20 minutes drive from idyllic Strängnäs is this gem. Surround by forest, fields and a rich wildlife right next to the house. Don't be surprised if you see moose, deer, cranes and many other wildlife from the porch when you eat breakfast. There is also the opportunity to book several different activities such as game safaris, clay pigeon shooting, bow shooting and lots of garden games to do on your own.

Minihus i Mariefred

A simple little house where you can sleep and prepare basic meals while enjoying everything that Mariefred has to offer. The house is only 15 sqm, so it’s small but cozy. There is a bed that is 140 cm wide, a small writing desk with a chair, and a small table with two stools. There is a TV with Netflix, Telia Play, and Disney+. There is also a small kitchenette with two hotplates and a portable fan. Parking is available on the street outside or elsewhere nearby.

Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here). A third to recover and land in silence. What are your needs?

Historical idyll from the 1600s

Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023. Of course, cleaning, bed linens, towels and coffee and tea are included.

A charming guest house of 22 sqm with sofa bed and sleeping loft in the countryside. Around the house is a chicken coop, garden and views of scenic Taxinge. With just under 2 km to Taxinge Castle, there are good opportunities to experience the "tile castle" through a walk or short drive. Good starting point for traveling around and discovering Södermanland's nature, but also Greater Stockholm.

We are far from the big city, but still only 1 hour from Stockholm, with a nice view of Lake Mälaren and the opportunity to sit on our jetty at sunset. Our guest house is about 45 sqm with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (180 cm bed) and a small living room with sofa bed (140 cm). The guest house is built together with the main building and has its own balcony.
