Enjoy peace and quiet in a 40-square-metre mini cottage. Ready-made beds and blackout rooms. The cottage can be cooled or heated. There are mosquito nets on the windows and an insect screen on the front door. In the outdoor sauna, there is a hot shower + firewood for heating the sauna stove. You can cook your own meals in the kitchen nook. Clear instructions for all features. 2 bedrooms, 2 WCs and 2 TVs. When you leave, only take your own footprints with you. NOTE: Wood heating and pets can cause symptoms for sensitive individuals. Stairs and an uneven yard can make exercise difficult!

Welcome to Villa Jaakkola! Villa Jaakkola is a log villa completed in 2022 in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski. The villa is spacious and spacious. There is one bedroom and a living room/kitchen downstairs. There's also plenty of room and sleeping space on the loft. A new lakeside sauna was built at the cottage in the summer of 2026. The cottage has all the comforts of modernity, and the large windows open up to a great lake view in two directions. In the warmth of the fireplace, it's lovely to watch the Northern Lights and listen to the silence. Welcome!

Completed in 2014, our cottage is located in Paljakka, close to ski trails and mountain bike trails. The cottage's facilities are located on two floors. The glass railed terrace, which is the width of the entire cabin, gives you the opportunity to sense the peace of nature in both winter and summer. In the yard there is a wood storage, a campfire place and a hot tub. A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist center in Ukkoha 26 km. Shops: Puolanka center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.

Syöte's services and ski resort are just a few minutes away by car (about 5 km). The cottage has a renovated kitchen and an atmospheric cottage fireplace. Villa Salme: Cozy lakeside logcabin+private beach

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

Lakeside Pines Cabin

The Finnish nature is one of our most excellent resources, providing an abundance of beauty and fresh, clean air. This is a log cabin with a lakeside view located 21 km from Kuhmo town and 130 km from Kajaani Airport. It features a sauna cabin, two bedrooms, and a living room with a kitchen. There is also a BBQ area in the front yard. Local wildlife centers offer wildlife tours, which can be booked through the Wildtaiga site. Prices for bear hide tours can be found on the BearCentre website.

Not a resort. Not a hotel. Exactly what Finland actually looks like. A small off-grid cabin on Lake Oulujärvi running on solar power and firewood. No running water or indoor plumbing. That’s intentional. You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.
