Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Thorold

We selected Alissa’s place in preference of another Airbnb which was in the close proximity and we made the right decision. This house may not be on the shore like the other but it’s literally 5 mins walk to sunset beach which is very nice indeed. Also there is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area just around the corner. Lots of walks to go on from the house and we explored them all. The house is exactly as described and in great condition, all the beds were comfy and the showers are great. Easy to get access with the app controlled front door and a very quiet neighborhood. Overall, very highly recommend Alissa’s place.

Warren’s home was beautiful! The backyard walking out to the water was amazing. Warren was very helpful & responsive with questions and my friends and I felt right at home! We will definitely be back. Looking for a night away with friends or even a week vacation, I’d definitely recommend this gem ☺️

We were very pleased with our stay here. Everything was exactly as described and you could smell how clean it was as soon as you entered! Lots of space for the 5 of us to visit, eat, and lounge around. It was beautiful weather so we were able to enjoy backyard and hot tub. Perfect place for a Girls getaway. I did notice a couple things from other reviews 1) Neighbourhood - sure it’s not fancy but I felt safe and used the same amount of caution as I would anywhere. 2) People who complained about notes - Why?? We appreciated them - clear instructions and certainly nothing unreasonable. Far was extremely helpful and responsive. I messed up our reservation and he fixed it for me - no problem at all. This is our 3rd Airbnb in NF - and it will be our go to!!! Thanks again Far! 😊

We enjoyed our stay and there was great communication from start to finish! The property is very nice and there’s a lot of room for everybody. Perfect if you were looking to go to many of the wineries, particularly Trius and Gretzky’s since it’s so close. A short drive to the downtown area.

We had a great stay at Nayem’s house. Lots of amenities and things to do while you are visiting the falls and Niagara-on-the-lake. We would love to stay here again if we were back in the area. Highly recommend.

I booked this trip fir my husband and so ln and Drew was a helpful host. The house was perfect for them and they thoroughly enjoyed the space, beds and neighborhood. They if we travel back to fish the Niagara river again, this is where we will stay!

It was a nice,clean, close to everything place to stay! We were bummed that we couldn’t use the hot tub, as we were very much looking forward to that option at the place. We were able to bring our dogs as it was very convenient having a fenced in yard to keep them safe. The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had, and got right back to me! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

We came for a night from Canada and had a great experience. The Airbnb is in a perfect area just minutes from downtown (driving) and a quiet friendly neighborhood.

Chris' place was exactly as advertised. A very large apartment, 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Everything we needed was there. The back yard was amazing. I wish we had more time to spend in it. Unfortunately it was too cold for the pool. I will definitely recommend it to anyone i know heading that way. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Chris!

We had a wonderful stay! We appreciated the cleanliness and welcome basket full of local recommendations. The location was amazing - close to all of the things we wanted to do. We felt right at home. There was everything for breakfast which made it so easy to relax. It was bright and homey. Will be going back.

TJ’s home was very clean, in a great location, and had everything I needed. Everything is a short walk or drive away. He was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here!

This place was an amazing stay, clean and comfortable, the shower was relaxing, the bed is super soft, also very close to the falls, about 5 minute drive and 15 minute walk. recommend to others

This is a very large home that had plenty of room for our family of six with space to spare. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The views over Lake Ontario were amazing - we could clearly see the Toronto skyline. The sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous. The hosts were the most responsive hosts I've ever experienced on Airbnb - I messaged a few times with minor questions but they got back to me within minutes if not seconds. Overall, a great experience for us.

This cottage is just like the pictures and it was very clean was in a great location very close to the beach walking distance. The backyard is like your own little tranquil paradise! The pool was clean. Everything was great. My family and I went there for my 50th birthday and we truly enjoyed ourselves even my teenage boys. We honestly didn’t wanna leave Best Birthday ever and the host Trevor is amazing responsive and friendly. Super nice highly recommend this place. I know we will definitely be going back .

We recently stayed at a bunkie in Port Colborne for a fishing trip, and while we didn't catch any fish, we had a great time. The bunkie was a bit small for three grown adults, but it was tidy and well-maintained. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even supplying us with wood for a fire. Their bathroom was spotless and amazing, which we really appreciated. Although we might look for a larger place next time, we appreciate the warm welcome and would recommend this spot for smaller groups.

This is a lovely location overlooking Lake Erie and the views of the lake were really spectacular. We were there on a very windy afternoon and evening so we didn't use the fire pit but just enjoyed the cozy living space and looking out at the water. I'm glad that I read other reviews that mentioned that this place is not as fully-stocked as some other places. So I would join others in saying that you should plan on bringing extra coffee (there were a few keurig pods) and sugar. We didn't do any cooking (just used the toaster and kettle). I wouldn't call this place "rustic" because it does have all the features of a comfortable home but there were some quirks. My tall husband kept hitting his head on the light fixtures in the living room and the stairs to the upstairs are steep and the ceiling low--a slight problem again if you're tall. The wifi connection was also very sluggish. Not a problem if your intention is to unplug and relax! Perfect for a getaway from the world.

Victor was super helpful and great with communication. We accidentally left a cellphone behind, and he kindly let us return to pick it up. The house was spotless and exactly like the pictures. Highly recommend!
