central to all of the chateaux within 80 km radius. We visited 8 and were not disappointed. Amboise had a great selection of quality restaurants at reasonable prices, for us Chez Bruno stood out the best. Our hosts prepared the pool for a daily swim which was so nice as our nearest pool at home is 10km away and difficult to get to. The property gave us the chance to forget TV for 2 weeks to allow some good social time and good reading. Finally Michele and Roland our hosts couldn't do enough for us. Wish we were closer as they would be great as friends and neighbours.

We spent a few days at the property. Very nice accommodation, very quiet , on the banks of the Loire where we were able to go for a walk. The advantage of the accommodation is that it is well located around several castles that we were able to visit. The space was spotless, the two beds are fine. A large well equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden with a beautiful terrace where we enjoyed having breakfast. I recommend

We felt welcome as soon as we arrived with Stephanie greeting us and showing us around. The place is so charming and set in an incredibly beautiful and peaceful area in the French countryside. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, and the living room and bedroom were cozy. Stephanie generously provided provisions for our first breakfast and brought us lily of the valley on May Day - a long standing French tradition for good luck. Her location was perfect for visiting all the châteaux in the area and we even caught a glimpse of the hot air balloons one evening. Stephanie was both respectful of our privacy, but also generous with her time and so responsive any time we needed assistance. The nearby village is about 10 minutes away by car and has a great small market. Another town, about 15 minutes away by car had some great restaurants.

It was one of our best Airbnb! The place was spotless, Thomas thought of everything in every detail (even for our baby). Thomas was very responsive and welcomed us as he should be. We are very happy to have been able to stay in this beautiful place.

This gorgeous Airbnb home is a great place for a family getaway! Our kids were delighted: the ping pong, the trampoline, and the fantastic, clean pool with the perfect temperature of 24 degrees thanks to the roof provided them with constant fun. Hosts, Anne-Marie and Henri, are incredibly kind and helpful. The delicious cookies from Anne-Marie were a wonderful gesture. It was some of our best vacations with kids and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

We had a great time at Pascal's place. The house is spacious, very well-equipped and clean. Pascal was generous and left us a small welcome box and plenty of groceries for the stay. We really enjoyed it. The central fireplace is great. The kitchen is very tidy and fully equipped. Non-negligible detail: check-in and check-out times are flexible which is very rare in other listings. This allowed us to spend our Sunday quietly. We'll be happy to go back. Thank you Pascal.

Excellent stay. The accommodation is large, well-equipped. Great foosball is also a plus. In addition, there is a large grass and completely enclosed garden that allowed a 6 year old boy to run, herbal and hunt the butterfly (bring his net). There is space to park two or three cars. The center of Amboise is half an hour walk and a dozen minutes drive. The accommodation is very well located for visiting the area. We met Didier who was very concerned about our comfort.

Our stay was beautiful, the cottage is a bit remote, but that makes it very quiet. They are 2 cottages side by side. The 2nd cottage was empty for half of our stay. At the cottage is a beautiful garden where you can sit. The facilities in the cottage are very nice and of high quality. The wood stove with the cozy bench make it a nice place for a stay with 2 people. The space is bigger and nicer than we expected from the photos. Since we were the 2nd people who stayed here (according to AirBnB data), everything was still very new and tidy. The upstairs bedroom has its own toilet and sink and even a bath in the room! There is a nice terrace to eat outside. The car can be parked on private property, along with the car of the 2nd cottage. Only downside, the bathroom (on the ground floor) is a bit difficult to ventilate and that can create a bit of musty air.

We had a great time at the “Maisonette”. The accommodation is charming, clean and in a great location for visiting the Chateau de Chaumont-sur-Loire. Alexandra was welcoming and thoughtful throughout the stay. Special mention to Guillaume for the superb metal details in the decoration — beautiful work, well done! A place full of character that we would recommend without hesitation. Happy hosting.

Our stay at Melin’s place was extremely pleasant. The apartment is beautifully decorated, large and spacious and with the added bonus of off-street parking, which was perfect. The outside space is perfect for a chilled glass of wine in the evening. The place is situated conveniently minutes away from an excellent food hall selling fresh produce and the many excellent restaurants and bars offer a great choice. Because of the levels of comfort, convenience and enjoyment from the many local attractions (chateau, riverside walks and stunning countryside) we will definitely put this property on our re-visit list. Very beautiful accommodation, as described and very well equipped. Isabelle was very available to welcome us with great kindness in her living space. The bakery at the foot of the building is a real plus, as well as free parking nearby. A 160cm bed will bring a little more comfort. Thanks again, we'll be happy to come back.

All as described. Beautiful complex. A great experience. Great host. Ideal for excursions or simply enjoying the life at the farm.
