B Haus ON Yado Tazawa is a small inn consisting of a newly built accommodation and a kitchen building that has been renovated from an old house that has been built for about 100 years. The kitchen building is fully equipped with cooking utensils and dishes while retaining the taste of dirt and beams.You can spend a nostalgic time somewhere with local ingredients. Within walking distance, at Villa Destos, you can enjoy beautiful gardens adorned with seasonal flowers and views across the vineyards. Starting with Arcanvinh, which is a 5-minute drive away, there are also wineries dotted around the neighbourhood that represent the Chikuma River Wine Valley, such as Ludwin and Wine Terrace Goto.We also recommend finding your favourite wine and enjoying it with local ingredients in the kitchen of a traditional Japanese house. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba and Kamikochi, you can stay comfortably from one night to consecutive nights. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe is also good, making it possible for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a washing machine and dryer, and it is comfortable for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. In 2021, we renovated a house in the town of Bessho Onsen, Ueda, Shinshu, and opened it as an accommodation facility.Up to 9 people can stay in one unit.From 35,000 yen for up to 5 guests (special rates available), with an additional 3,000 yen for each additional guest.As it is a private space for one group per day, you can relax without any worries, even if you have small children.There is also Wi-Fi, and two rooms on the second floor are equipped with desks, mini-fridges and electric kettles, making it the perfect accommodation for a workation where you can travel while working. There are four outdoor baths within walking distance, as well as numerous shrines and temples that house national treasures and important cultural properties, including Kitamuki Kannon.If you continue a little further, you can visit Shioda-daira, known as "Shinshu's Kamakura", which is a Japan Heritage site and home to the Nogura Dosojin couple. The kitchen is also fully equipped, so you can cook your own meals.You are welcome to use the fridge, rice cooker, microwave, IH heater, electric kettle, and more.A supermarket (Tsuruya) and a convenience store are about a 10-minute drive away. There are two free parking spaces, so you can come with your car without any worries.If you are coming by train, it is an 8-minute walk from Bessho Onsen Station.

This is an old house located in Aoki Village, Shinshu, at the foot of Mt. Fujin. The entire house can accommodate up to 12 people. For 2 people on a weekday, it starts from 10,000 yen. (This varies depending on the season.) The pricing is very reasonable, with an additional 4,000 yen for each additional person. (Children under 3 years old stay for free. Children under 3 years old must sleep with an adult. In 2017, it was named the best village to live in in the whole country. The entire house is rented out, so it is used by families and groups. I am a Superhost. You can use it like a cottage. Since it is a private rental, you can relax without any interference from other guests. 　The guest rooms are two large adjoining rooms, one 10 tatami mats and the other 12 tatami mats. There is also a 6 tatami mat room with a toilet. Fully equipped with a living room and kitchen. The toilet and bath are shared by men and women. Pets are not allowed. A tiny house and herbal retreat surrounded by the rich nature of Shinshu. You can freely use more than 80 kinds of medicinal herbs to heal your mind and body with herbal tea and herbal baths. In the living room with a wood-burning stove, you can read or have tea while surrounded by the warmth of the fire. There is a fire pit and pizza oven in the garden, where you can enjoy a campfire and homemade pizza. Outside the window is "Bingshi no Sato Park" with seasonal views. Enjoy picnics, morning walks, cherry blossoms and autumn leaves in the lawn plaza. You can bring your pets and stroll through nature together. A hot spring with a view is a 1-minute drive away, and there are many local hot springs within a 10-minute drive. If you stretch your legs a little, you can also visit Ueda Castle, Seikogen, and the Power Spot tour. Bedding includes 1 double bed in the loft (single futon can be added on request), 1 double futon bed in the first floor tatami space, and a single bed on the couch sofa. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
