Our apartment is located directly next to the castle ruins and the maar. In April 2023, the Ulmener Maar tunnel was opened, which connects the maar and the Jungferweiher via a 120 m long tunnel. The Volcanic Eifel offers many possibilities. Whether cycling, hiking, fishing (Maar, Jungferweiher) or motorcycling in the winding Eifel or on the Nürburgring (15 min). Our two adjoining vacation homes, each for four people, are located in Kalenborn, near Kaiseresch in the Volcanic Eifel. On the 800 square meter property, overlooking a lot of nature, you can really enjoy your stay. With 80 square meters of living space and a large kitchen, the vacation home offers enough space for 4 adults, or 2 adults and up to three children. There is an electric grill on the large balcony. You are also welcome to bring your four-legged friends.

Another highlight is the Maarstollen, which opened in 2023. With a length of 124 m, you can quickly walk from one maar to another and at the same time be in the middle of the volcano. My house is located on the southern outskirts of Ulmen, is very centrally located in Weidenstraße 7A – not far from the Ulmener Maar and the castle ruin. A few years ago, there was still an old barn on this property, which my brothers lovingly converted into a characterful and rustic country house. On the cozy wooden terrace you can end the day and enjoy the idyll of the evening.

I offer our small guest room, the room itself is nice and bright and renovated in 2025. The room has its own large bathroom with shower, here too we are modernizing, the ceiling is without cladding.
