The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

Right outside your front door you can start your hikes through the fascinating Black Forest. Our well-known Rothaus brewery is worth a trip. It can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.

About 900m above the sea, right on the Wutach Gorge and with good visibility, with views of the alps. The spacious and bright apartment is a perfect starting point for beautiful excursions. The Hierholzer pond is a habitat for dragonflies, aquatic insects, a spawning ground for numerous frogs and a summer meeting place for locals and their guests. The chalet/wooden house with large roof overhang, conservatory and balcony facing the pond provides 65 m² in 3.5 rooms. The property with 1000 m² west slope is sun-drenched. To the south there is an alpine view.
