From the windows to the courtyard, the border mountains to Lower Franconia can be seen, e.g. Dammersfeld, Beilstein and Eierhauck. From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

Treffurt has a very special charm with its beautiful castle, narrow streets and timber frame. The district of Schnellmannshausen belongs to Treffurt, "Schnelli" as the locals say here, is located at the foot of the Heldrastein, which is considered the most beautiful viewpoint in Thuringia. The guest apartment is located directly on campus, yet close to nature. If you have problems with pets, insects or feathered friends, you should not read any further. Close to shopping, swimming pool, ice rink, good gastronomy, nature reserve. Parking is available right in front of the property. Good starting point for hikes to the Kickelhahn, to the Bobhütte, Gabelbach or Rennsteig, for bike rides on the Ilmradweg or individually, motorized for tourist destinations in Thuringia

Holidays in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Small idyllic guest house in the countryside just 20 minutes away from the Documenta city of Kassel, with the World Heritage Site Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. Lovingly furnished for 2 people with small kitchen, sleeping loft and modern, new bathroom. Enjoy the tranquility and privacy on your own small terrace with private access. Kassel can also be reached by public transport via the train station in Guxhagen, which is 3 km away. The Mondsee, a swimming lake, is 2.5 km away.

Modern guest house "Seenah" and close to the city

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. Vacation home 60 sqm (historic city apartment)

Our renovated apartment (60 m²) can accommodate 1-2 people. The cozy living room with sofa bed & TV invites you to linger. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The apartment has 1 bedroom with two single box spring beds. The bathroom with walk-in shower, large mirror & towel dryer completes the overall picture. Please note that no pets are allowed. Wi-Fi and parking behind the house are available free of charge.
