A warm welcome to our 130-year-old half-timbered house at the foot of the Wartburg Castle! Once used as a smithy, it now offers a family-friendly holiday apartment with a full range of amenities. It is centrally located in Eisenach, with short distances to the town centre, shopping facilities, tourist attractions and the unique natural beauty of the Thuringian Forest! Our children's room is located directly above the holiday apartment. We do our best, but some noise may still be audible.

Wooden house 13 sqm in the middle of our large orchard with mini kitchen, wood-burning stove, outhouse and solar power. There are 2 beds that can be set up as a double bed or single beds. Consciously kept simple, no TV and Wi-Fi, but plenty of PEACE and NATURE. The garden with swing, fireplace and teepee (in summer) is available. The house is 30 m away and there is a shower room that can be used from 7:30 am to 10 pm and where the dirty dishes can be handed in.

A modernised and cosy 75 m² flat in a well-maintained half-timbered house from the 18th century. There is a large, as-good-as-new kitchen and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a new sofa bed with an ottoman in the living room. For a possible 3rd person. The bedroom now has a box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm), and a travel cot for children can also be set up if required. There is also a terrace with new seating furniture and an awning.

The apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of the city park, the Orangery and the center of Gotha. Just like the train station and sights such as the castle, the Natural History Museum is all within minutes walking. It has a separate entrance only for our guests. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram.
