Tiny house holiday rentals in Western Maryland

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

What a beautiful getaway! Mason was incredibly helpful and my wife and I were blown away by all of the amenities and features both inside and outside. If you're looking for some peace, relaxation, and natural beauty, this is the place for you! We can't wait to be back.

This cabin was adorable and very clean. It had everything we needed. It was very private, yet only five (5) Miles to downtown Gettysburg. My husband and I highly recommend.

Such a relaxing stay at this quant and peaceful cottage! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, bed and linens are super comfy and the location is just breathtaking. There is so much to do in the area, it was very accessible to great restaurants & hiking. Absolutely recommend!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay in Robin's cabin. Check-in was easy, with Robin greeting us and showing us where to park. Our stay was in April and the heater kept the cabin cozy all night. There were plenty of blankets as well. It was great being unplugged for the weekend and we slept well. The bathroom is a quick walk up to the house. While we didn't get to spend much time at the farm during the day, the stars and spring peepers were treats to experience at night. Overall a great stay!

We loved our visit at Sarah’s, hadn’t stayed in a rustic cabin for a few decades, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our goal was Harper’s Ferry, and the drive was easy. Her restaurant recommendations were perfect

Gerry’s place is just what I needed to disconnect. Close to some good hiking and outdoor activities. The place itself has everything you need for a short peaceful stay. Gerry himself was very welcoming and hospitable. I loved this place. I will definitely favorite to go back sometime.

I was there with my family. We all loved the place and would visit again and again.

The cabin was great and it was so nice to have everything you need already there. The essentials were provided: hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, aluminum foil, cling wrap, olive oil, tea and coffee. There was even a large britta pot to filter the water. I would definitely stay there again.

Tommy and Sheryl were perfect hosts! Sheryl even came to kill a spider which was a big deal for me and my kiddo because I am blind/low vision and my daughter was afraid. I didn't expect that from the host. I just asked for Raid. We also had issues with food and grocery deliveries going to th wrong house. That would be my only criticism - some sort of more visible marking for food deliveries to make the distinction between the Airbnb house vs the larger home; this would have been ideal. However, I just clarified my instructions by food order #2 and sent pics and it all worked out. As far as the property, the gravel was a challenge for me, but still navigable. So, overall, I end with 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend these hosts and the Log Out home! It is super cute and perfect for any individual, couple, or single mom and tween/teen!

Beautiful home in an amazing setting! The house had everything needed and the property was even better than the photos. Very quiet and private. Host was friendly and responsive. Can’t recommend enough!

We booked this cabin for our anniversary trip and it was nothing short of amazing! It was in a great location, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and incredibly cozy. There was even fresh baked cookies, snacks, and all the things to make you feel right at home! Unfortunately a local wildfire cut our stay super short but Jessica was responsive and quick to communicate during the emergency. We appreciated her understanding when we decided to go home altogether - we were so saddened to leave early but we would absolutely book another trip here to try again!

We just got back from a few days at the Overlook. It was the most peaceful and relaxing getaway we’ve had in a while. The view can’t be beat, the space is SO clean and the attention to detail is perfection. We came here to reconnect and escape reality after our son was diagnosed with cancer this past year. We were able to do just that, as soon as you walk onto the deck you feel so secluded. This trip was so important to us and I don’t think we could’ve chosen more perfectly. The Overlook will be a special place for us to remember and we will definitely be back as soon as we get another chance to get away! Thanks Anthony, for creating such a beautiful space.. ***I think my favorite surprise was the heated floors in the bathroom lol!! You truly thought of everything!! Thanks again!***

This was our second time visiting (our last visit was at the smaller hobbit hole) and it was just as charming. Marlan is a great and personable host and the property is clean. The fridge is stocked with essentials, there is coffee and tea, and some other pantry basics. My partner and I visited with our 2 small children and we all had a lovely time. There is a fire pit just outside thats perfect for roasting smores and there's plenty to do within a 30 minute drive. We visited Harrisonburg and the Shenandoah caverns. A lovely stay!

This was a perfect spot for celebrating our anniversary! No outside disruptions ( unless you bring your cell phone), and had the added benefit of witnessing a storm roll through the valley — the lightening show was phenomenal! Hot tub was relaxing and the fairy lighted trail to a full bath was enchanting. A true gem to experience! If you plan to cook, prepare as if you are going camping .

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable guest house! We had everything we needed and we found the stay to be cozy and clean. The directions we received for check in were clear and easy. We had a great weekend exploring local hikes and breweries. Would recommend this stay!

Our second time staying at The Cabin and enjoyed it so much again! Sam and Jeff are fantastic hosts and the Cabin is such a beautiful spot to enjoy a weekend away. Berkeley Springs is just a quick drive down the hill, but staying here gives you quiet and privacy.

Sue and Bill are amazing hosts and truly went above and beyond for our stay with them (including before and after with many additional personal touches). Their property is fantastic and their dogs are unbelievable and our your personal tour guides!!! I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a Deep Creek getaway.

This stay was one that me and my now fiancé will truly never forget. It was so beautiful and relaxing. From the views in the backyard, to the site seeing at skyline drive. We woke up each morning to the most wonderful view of the Shenandoah river, while listening to some awesome vinyl records! (left by the host). It was so romantic, I was able to propose right on the property. This will be an annual stay for us from here on out.

Such a find! Sandi's place is peaceful and secluded and yet convenient to Middleburg and Oak Spring. There is so much to do locally, from the antiques stores to hiking to the vineyards and breweries. Sandi was a fabulous host - proactive and responsive - and the cottage is well set up and very comfortable.

We wanted a place to relax after a day of exploring and hiking, and this was the perfect place for it! It is close to Luray and other towns plus Shenandoah but secluded enough to get some peace and quiet. Would consider staying here again!!

Fun stay for our young family of four with two boys under 10 and our dog. Not quite the secluded atmosphere we thought, but the description of the home and the amenities were wonderful for our needs. Internet worked great along with the game room, hot tub, and gas grill. Very clean and a great host. Thank you!

Wonderful space inside, super clean, great kitchen and utensils, nice climate control and fans, clean well appointed bathroom, and comfy space. The outdoor area was equipped with 4 great chairs, firewood, kindling, and a firestarter, a grill, and we read out there in the great weather, and we also enjoyed a fire and dinner at nighttime. It’s a pretty lot with cows grazing on the nearby pasture and lots of birds. Hiking at Shenandoah and Blue Quartz winery and taproom nearby were nice attractions. It felt perfect for coming to nature/outdoors or to visit the wineries. I especially enjoyed just being outdoors and in a quieter area. Alison was super responsive and it was a great stay. The cabin was really well equipped with nice little touches like snacks, smores, information about the area, to make our experience a great one!
