We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Spacious, sun-drenched attic apartment with beautiful views of the countryside. Upscale amenities, underfloor heating, excellent insulation, ecological materials, fragrance-free. Direct proximity to Limburg/Diez, beautiful cycling and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity: e.g. Lahnhöhenweg, Jakobsweg, Lahnradweg, Lahnwanderweg, Küppelweg, ... Mother Meera, Schaumburg, Limburg old town and cathedral, Diez Castle, swimming in the Birlenbach outdoor pool and in Lake Baggersee Diez, canoeing on the Lahn and much more.

Room with private bathroom and kitchenette in Altenkirchen

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

At the beginning of the pedestrian zone and 2 minutes walk from the Löhrcenter. The old town, the castle and the Deutsches Eck are within walking distance. The apartment includes a large living room with sofa bed (sleeping area 1.20 x 1.90 m), a kitchen, bedroom with box spring bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), balcony, bathroom with walk-in shower.

Newly renovated apartment "Suseria" in the WW

Feel at home in our vacation home "Suseria." It is a newly renovated attic apartment for 4-6 people in 2024, in a quiet residential area in the Westerwald. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, there is also an open area in which the kitchen, dining and living room can be found as well as 1 bathroom (shower & bathtub) and is a total of about 100 square meters. Guests can use a small gym directly across the street from 6 am to 11 pm.

Separate barrier-free in-law suite

The apartment is bright, sunny, barrier-free and modernly furnished. Built in 2021. The town of Vielbach is 5 minutes from the A3. ICE train station and outlet in Montabaur can be reached in 15 minutes. Cologne and Frankfurt airports can be reached in 45 minutes. Various tourist attractions are available nearby. Despite the good connection, the place is in a rural idyll. The apartment is built barrier-free and senior-friendly.

Cozy wooden cabin

This cozy wooden house is located in a small HOLIDAY VILLAGE on the Westerwaldsteig. With up to six people you can enjoy nature here! You can go hiking or swimming in the Secker pond. When it gets cold, you can light a fire in the oven. Sit on the terrace and enjoy the summer. The house has simple furnishings, but now also Wi-Fi! Our completely renovated and modernly furnished one-room apartment offers you everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a small space – perfect for couples, solo travelers or business travelers. The combined living and sleeping area is bright and friendly. Through the large wing door you have access to a small terrace where you can enjoy the sun overlooking the Upper Castle. 🏰

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

The property is idyllically located on the outskirts of Rotenhain overlooking forest and meadows in the middle between Hachenburg, Westerburg and Bad Marienberg. The apartment is on the ground floor. I live with my partner on the upper floor. The beautiful garden with terrace can be shared and is great for relaxing, barbecuing or playing for children.

For short breaks (cyclists/boaters) who want to stay one or two nights at short notice. Simple equipment, single kitchen, shower and toilet on the first floor, upstairs bedroom with double bed. A roll mattress can be used for children. No TV, no closet. Located one street from the Lahn. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place.
