Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wrightsville Beach

This was a true home away from home! From the moment we arrived until our departure, my family and I felt at home. The only difference between our own home and this one was the address. The location was even better, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood where the residents welcomed and treated us as neighbors. The interior of the home was impeccable, with everything in its place. I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a home away from home.

Joel and Lauren's place was perfect! Great walkable location, ample street parking, beautiful open floor plan with separate enough space for separate activities, stocked kitchen with everything we needed for cooking, and very super responsive communication. We'll be back!

Our stay at the Hines' house was perfect. It was a beautiful, historic house and we were awed by how lucky we were to stay there. Lee's dad came round and talked one of us through all the history of the house which we were grateful for. It is well stocked, comfortable and really well placed for getting to shops, restaurants etc. A lovely walk to the riverfront. We had a great time, thank you

Very beautiful and comfortable home, would be an awesome retreat when you just want to relax or be near the beach. We really just enjoyed our family time here. Will look forward to coming again. Also not sure if but some pictures I guess are to another listing there's no playground out back.

Todd's place was just right for our visit to Wilmington. We were there to help our daughter and son-in-law move into their new home, so the location close to Leland was perfect. We were able to come back each night and relax, the use of the hot tub was an added bonus. Todd was friendly and his home was also very dog friendly!

This was my second time staying at Vickie's. And it was just as great as the first time. She is very responsive, makes sure my check in was successful and everything was great when I arrived. Her place is nicely stocked, kitchen, bathroom etc. ANd the furniture in very comfortable. Place is "homey" too. She is an awesome host! I will book her again whenever I get back to Wilmington.

I have stayed in a number of Airbnbs in the US and Canada. This was the best one I've ever stayed in. It was immaculate, well appointed, great location, great parking, comfortable beds, and tastefully decorated. Since my son lives in Wilmington, I am very sure I will stay there again if it is available. Thanks Jacquelinne.

The unit is private. Quiet neighborhood. Close to my daughter’s place in Beau Rivage. We scored a “10”!

We couldn’t have asked for a better two night stay. Lary & Cory responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. Our living space was clean and directions were clear. They also gave great recommendations for outings and even solicited info about potential real estate investments. Can’t beat that.

My only hope is that others will continue to access the Surf Shack and experience all of the magic and catharsis that it has to offer! I had the most therapeutic experience while on a solo trip to Wilmington for the first time - it instantly felt like home. Sam’s place has such comforting character that allows you to just sink in to whatever journey you’re on! The outdoor bath/shower, the incredible sound system that he encourages you to use, the thoughtfulness and freedom within the space was beyond all my hopes (and super clean)! Just feet from the beach and easily walkable to good food. Every hue of blue that paints the art and walls brought me to life and I am so grateful! Sam was extremely kind and accommodating - you could tell he genuinely cares about his guests. I will absolutely be back! Thank you so much!!

Rachel was a great host! My stay was peaceful and the place felt cozy and welcoming. Just about any amenity you needed was already there...especially in the kitchen. I would recommend Rachel as a host and a stay at this residence.

Jody’s Place was perfect for our travel needs. The beds were like sleeping on clouds, the living room furniture was clean and offered lots of seating, and the entire condo was squeaky clean. We found the kitchen well equipped and loved having laundry on site. The best part, a two minute walk to the beach! Thanks again for a great place!

I’ve had to stay in Wilmington for work for about a decade now, always in air bnbs. This has been my favorite stay by far. The neighborhood was quiet and only a short drive to everything I needed. The place was clean, cozy and had great amenities. I slept so well there, and that in itself is impressive. I would love to make this my go-to for future Wilmington Stays.

My trip to Turtle Time was fantastic. The space was inviting and cozy. The beach is just steps away. Relaxing in the hot tub was a delight. I hope to return to this little gem one day!

John and his co-hosts were amazing! Immediately upon arrival we were welcomed as family. They really went above and beyond in every aspect. The place was cleaned to perfection and there was so much to do! We were able to schedule an animal tour the same day, grill outside using their supplies and really relax as much as possible. Our room featured a private balcony and bathroom, but really the entire property should be highlighted. The hosts recommended beaches and restaurants for us to enjoy, and as we were checking out, John let us know that he was preparing breakfast for us as well! We were able to leave this amazing place with a full belly, homegrown fruits and veggies, eggs, and great memories. We will be back to visit for sure. Thanks again John B., John M, and Diana.

Words can’t express how much I enjoyed staying at John’s place. It was an amazing experience we will NEVER forget. It was by far my favorite bnb and I’ve stayed at a couple of Airbnbs. It’s close to the beach but it didn’t really matter because we wanted to spend all our time on his property. It was clean and there’s a ton of rooms in the villa! It is decorated so nice and the exotic animal farm he has is amazing! We stayed during the 4th of July and he had food waiting for us in their beautiful outside kitchen when we got back! You won’t want to leave the property. The pool was great and the rooms and bathrooms are so clean! I can’t wait to stay at their place again! I loved every second and they were all extremely responsive. They had fresh eggs and tomatoes that I brought home. Book your stay! You won’t regret it.

I decided last minute that I needed a getaway with some relaxation and an stress-free time. John’s place popped up to the top of the results list. I had never booked anything where you shared space but I decided to give it a try because of the good reviews and the fact that my husband’s name was John. I just felt like it was ok and safe. I’m glad I decided to try it. Both John’s and Diana were super sweet and so helpful.The house is beautiful.The rooms have top of the line bedding and beautiful decor. The kitchen was stocked with some food and John cooked several times for people. I’ve never had that at a place before so that was so helpful on saving some money with eating out. Plus they had garden tomatoes so I enjoyed like 10 tomato sandwiches.The animal tour was so cool. It was amazing to me to see how many animals , especially birds. It was really impressive; feeding the lemurs lollipops & holding the baby wallaby, Casper, was really cool.i highly recommend!! I will be back. Thanks
