Medieval Castle Lungarno SPA, honey moon, wedding

JimmyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The host Monica was exceptionally welcoming. Showed us around to ensure we knew everything about the tower. She also had fresh pasta and a cake for our arrival! Gave us instructions on the best way to cook it. The tower is beautiful and has been updated in the most complimentary way. From fellow craftsman to craftsman the design and workmanship of the interior is beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. If you love mid evil times this is your place.

Belforti Tower

We had the best stay in the tower! We truly fell in love with the little hillside village of Montecatini Val di Cecina and the people in town (including Luca and his wife). This is one of the coolest airbnbs we've ever had the chance of staying at. The tower has the best views over the hillsides and the sunrises took my breath away. The olive tree grove, pool, and lookout area is so beautiful and peaceful. What's even better is that Luca will go above and beyond to make sure your group is comfortable. He even took us mushroom hunting (don't worry Luca, we won't take anyone else to your secret spot!). The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is spacious and perfect for making dinners at home, the town is so charming and sweet and welcoming. If you're considering renting this airbnb, do it IMMEDIATELY. We can't wait to come back and visit. 10/10 experience!

We fell in love with your tower just looking at the photos, once we arrived we had in a moment the confirmation of the place we had chosen... WONDERFUL! Thanks to Alessandra and Raffaele (and not only....) for making us live an unparalleled experience, the tower has the ability to enter your heart, veins and breaths... See you guys soon! Erika and Fabio and Bibona (the hairy one)

Suite in the Tower, with Homemade Hearty Breakfast

DianaRating, 5 stars30 months ago
We loved our stay at San Fabiano castle. The location was perfectly situated between Siena and the Brunello/Montalcino wine region, with easy access to each by car. As the listing states this location is best for those with a rental car or pre-arranged transportation. The grounds themselves and common areas of the castle are lovely, with a lot of space to wander and appreciate the castle from different perspectives. The suite is clean, and has fans that help on warmers days/nights. Our temps were in the low 80s and overcast and the suite stayed cool enough to be comfortable with the fan. A minor suggestion is to have bug spray handy if you tend to attract mosquitos (we were told they can be common due to the nearby river). I’d be remiss not to mention Giovanni who was the host on site supporting us throughout our stay. He was very easily accessible throughout our stay. He helped with recommendations in the area and even helped us secure a taxi to our train station. Being connected to the family who owns the estate was a special and unique experience we’ll never forget.

La Torre di Conca

We absolutely loved our stay! The place has the most beautiful view!! Daniela is a phenomenal host! The place is definitely harder to get to without a car, but Daniela went out of her way to tell us what bus to take, the bus schedules and made sure we got off at the right stop! She went above and beyond! It was very clean upon arrival. We had everything we needed for a week stay — enough towels & linens, pots & pans, paper towels & toilet paper. We loved how much there was to walk to around the place. There is a butcher shop across the street, at least 4 restaurants within walking distance, and a small market with everything we needed. We also walked to the beach many times. There is also a scooter rental place next door that we utilized and that was so convenient and great! It was so quiet and peaceful and all the neighbors are so nice! I just have to mention again how GREAT the views were! We would def come back!! Our only complaints were the amount of flies & how hard the bed was.

Muin a Ventu Historical Tower

CarlaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We did not do this but wish we did: we were arriving by private car from Monte Carlo. Our driver had never been to Cirque Terre. We should have gotten on the train at the most northern village of CT and got off at Verrazza. From there it is an easy walk to the office to check in. We are older, doing a long trip, so hired a private porter to take our bags up to the tower. We are very glad we did that. It is a bit of a climb up steep stone steps. The tower is lovely with incredible views, and a good size outdoor patio. We lucked out with excellent weather to do lots of hiking (need to be in decent shape), and every restaurant/bar had good food and service. We were very happy with our stay in Muin a Ventu.
