Holiday rentals with breakfast in Champniers

Nicole gave us a very warm welcome. Her cottage is Impeccable , new furniture, good quality bedding. All linens available are clean. Also Nicole remained available our entire stay to make sure that we do not miss anything. I highly recommend it. I'll be back, that's for sure 🙂

Well located accommodation at the bottom of a cul-de-sac that ensures tranquility but close at the same time to La Rochefoucauld where there are all shops. The place is charming and typical Charentais. Christine and her husband are warm and available hosts. We enjoyed the breakfast on the garden side with local products. A nice Charentaise break that I would recommend without a second thought. Thank you Francoise for hosting us.

Emmanuelle’s home is lovely and extremely clean not far and within walking distance to angouleme’s city centre the house is spread over three floors and has a lovely terrace area to unwind after a long day sight seeing ... we would love to return maybe next year

Very spacious accommodation with very well equiped kitchen, beautiful terrace, in quiet and secluded surroundings. Perfect for relaxing and good base for excursions of Poitou. We recovered wonderfully.

The accommodation is very tastefully and fully furnished with good furniture, lots of books, art on the wall etc. Outside is a beautiful terrace with barbecue. A little further away is the lovely natural pool with seating. Adrian's estate (and Vicky) also consists of his own home, some beautiful old stables and other houses, a meadow with donkeys, an artist's studio and a vegetable garden. The whole is very charming, peaceful and in a green natural setting. Adrian himself (Vicky was in England) is very nice and the welcome was very warm with a chest of vegetables, fruits, homemade jam, etc. We had a wonderful week at Adrian's place as a family (6 adults and a baby) and we can highly recommend this accommodation.

Annick and Patrick are amazing hosts? They are helpful and friendly and speak several languages. When we stayed with them they took us and several of the other guests to an outdoor food festival, which was great and then after that we walked around the lake and saw a live band and had plenty of singing and dancing. They are very knowledgeable about their home country and eager to impart their knowledge. You cannot go wrong staying at Tartou with this couple and the fabulous views over the countryside.

In a refurbished old farmhouse, these 3 guest rooms with a small adjoining campsite are a real haven of peace. The interior design, with old boards in particular, is very successful. Large indoor and outdoor common area to share with the other bedrooms. Julien is very welcoming. To be recommended.

In a beautiful Charentaise house, this guest room is perfect: spacious, very well furnished and tastefully decorated. Colin is a very friendly host who quickly makes us feel right at home. Add to that the hearty breakfasts prepared with care and served either in the kitchen or the garden... Looking forward to our next stay in Mansle!

Great. The week went really well. The bed is very comfortable. I would highly recommend it.

Thierry and his family were extremely attentive to our needs and pleasant. The only host of our France trip with some command of English, Thierry was very easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations for local restaurants in Mansle (mahn-zool) and the area. I wish we had more time to stay and explore the area more. Off-street parking was behind a gated entrance with remote entry for easy coming and going. Plus the sleepy village of Chateau Renaud was easily walkable, day or night, down to the beautiful Charente River. My heart is now in the Charente region. i just don't live there. (Side note) This home is just off the corner of D61 and D361 intersection.

We arrived and left in the rain but the welcome and accommodation in a spirit of elegant flea market, with large rooms sober but warm and arty, warmed us well. Marie is a discreet and surprising woman, maestra of homemade jams and compotes, in love with cats and beauty.
