Recommended hosts, very well hosted at Valerie's. very nice accommodation, well-equipped with beautiful furniture, you won't want for anything. We had a lovely weekend with the family, thank you!

We booked Maddy‘s place very last minute. She was very amicable and got the place ready quickly for us! The upstairs mezzanine was perfect t for ours kids. Maddy and her family were so friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again if we’re passing through. The house was perfect for two adults three children and a dog. Our children are aged 8, 10 and 12 and we enjoyed cycling out to the local town and playing by the swimming pool. The kids loved feeding the goat, there were chickens too. They loved the owners dog too! We visited Royan, it’s approx 30 minutes drive. I would throughly recommend this place!

Louise and Mickael hosted us very well, with a bottle of white wine and cold beers! Very much appreciated! We had a pleasant week's vacation at Moulin Chaillou. We were able to enjoy the pool, which the children loved (4 years and 1 year). All shops are nearby, the beach is 45 minutes away, as well as the aquarium, etc. If needed, don't hesitate, Louise and Mickael are there to meet your needs.

Thank you for your hospitality and kindness, we enjoyed the pool, the hot tub and the different amenities. The large garden is lovely.

Very nice week with family at Manoir Souhait. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos and described. Very nice pool and hot tub. Numerous deckchairs and impeccable. Everything is neat, you feel very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong. The village is very quiet and pretty. Shops are 10 minutes by car. The area is beautiful in the July sun. Geocaching trail (Terra Aventura) with family in Cognac, Aulnay, La Touche de Périgny, St Jean d'Angely - discovering old stones, beautiful Romanesque churches and rivers. Visit to wineries and vineyards (we particularly recommend the Dhiersat house in Rouillac). We recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation, family rest. Highly recommended!

We had a great time with friends and kids. The accommodation is well equipped, quiet, perfect for 2 families. The pool with sauna and jacuzzi is the perfect place for adults and children. The presence of the playground made the children happy. We thank Daphne and Blaise for their welcome. We warmly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet week.

We had a great time in this beautiful house, recently renovated and with all the comforts we needed. Super nice place, the neighborhood is very nice, the ducks and the chickens of the neighbor made the happiness of my 1 ½ year old daughter. Maryse's welcome was warm and we really felt at home with lots of books and games, it was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could easily have stayed longer. The place was perfect, fantastic pool, great countryside and fab location for day trips. Mark and Elaine were the perfect hosts, all in all a great place!

Lovely accommodation with everything we needed in the house. Village has a market five days a week in the square opposite the house which has fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese and some fish. There is a butcher, boulangerie and a general store (the Tabac). The local restaurant is good for a pizza or steak. You have to drive to other restaurants in the area.

Beautiful cottage! we had the "large cottage" which has 2 spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with a double bed and two single beds. The kitchen is convenient and well-stocked. The living room opens onto a small private garden with outdoor table and barbecue overlooking the quiet trees. We were also able to take advantage of the shared swimming pool. We really enjoyed it, thanks again!

Carol’s place was even better than expected with communication brilliant throughout our stay. Carol made us feel like part of the family for our week away. We would recommend to absolutely anyone looking to have a quiet stay in the Charante area of France. We will be back as soon as possible!

Cottage is fine, well located in the garden of a very friendly and helpful young family. The great garden is accessible to guests. Cooking is possible, but extensive cooking becomes difficult. Only point of attention is the indoor climate. House was clammy and therefore, in bad weather, it may be less pleasant.

Jacqueline and Jean Michel welcomed us very warmly. The home is in a very quiet village and the private land is very large and beautifully wooded. Tranquility assured. The small town of Segonzac is less than 5 km away: small supermarket, gas station, etc. We recommend La Maison de la Grande Champagne, a store with around twenty local producers of Pineau and Cognac.

We are just back from a beautiful stay in France. Audrey’s home was exactly as described and more. If you’re looking for a charming and relaxing retreat then we can highly recommend. Chez Foucherie is nestled in the heart of the French countryside and surrounded by sunflower fields allowing you to escape from the bustle of everyday life and truly relax. Audrey was responsive and helpful from the outset. Everything was made easy and straightforward. The house was spotlessly clean whilst remaining characterful and complete with original features and charm. As a party of 9 (5 adults and 4 children) we all had an amazing time. Thank you ☺️
