Unbeatable location. I've just fallen in love with the area. Because of the views and how quiet the area is. Only birdsong is heard. And just 10 minutes from Limoges. The hosts are very friendly, they responded very quickly and had a very close treatment. We were able to charge the electric car in total comfort. We recommend 100%

Very good stay. The accommodation is very nice and easy to access. We were very well hosted by Nelly and Stephane. We were there for a short trip for a family event but we would have stayed longer. Home near landmarks like Oradour sur Gane!

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.

Have a good week with Carole who was kind enough to host us despite a last minute booking. Carole leaves you her home with confidence. The house is spacious and the environment is very quiet. There is a nice little garden with a ping pong table that allows for good moments of fun!! Lots of possible visits to nearby castles, close to Angouleme which is a very nice town. Only 1h30 from Royan. There's plenty to do!! Great value for the money. Recommended.

A spacious, charming, and character-filled home to stay in pretty Excideuil. We were only 4 adults and 2 children but there was so much more space! We loved coming home to the magical pisé stoned central hallway. Josephine was a lovely host and very responsive. Excellent Thursday market steps away and lovely country walks in the region. We had a lovely stay in Marie Line's house. We particularly appreciated the quality of the welcome, and the large garden with the sheltered garden furniture. The house is very spacious, and the bedding is of very good quality in all rooms.

The location is perfect. Just off the central square with commanding views over the town. The apartment is homely and clean with welcoming touches of milk and beer to greet us. Bathrooms and bedroom were a great size and perfectly equipped and the views are spectacular. It felt very safe and homely with everything we needed. Thank you so much. Will come to stay again.

We had a very pleasant week of vacation in the green Périgord. Marc is a warm and attentive host, he wants everyone to feel good, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation is clean, we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the greenery of the park and the pool. A week during which we also enjoyed the baguette and small morning croissants, as well as the restaurant tastings on the site! An invitation to relax with the possibility of walking and/or cycling on many arrow trails. A place to remember.

Marc will do everything to make your stay a success. But it's not difficult because the cottage is in a super quiet place. We were looking for peace and found it and the last night Marc invited us to eat next to the pond with other guests. Thanks to Marc, we felt like a family! Thanks for everything!
