The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Top location - Top amenities

It is a beautiful apartment in the middle of the girls' quarter (Seitenstrasse). Restaurants, supermarkets, etc. are a few minutes' walk away. It doesn't get any more central than this. Local transport, highway and city center are also within easy reach. Free parking is available in front of the door. The apartment is perfectly equipped and nothing is missing. I live here most of the time myself and love my home. All things are of very high quality and should be treated well.

Bright, quiet and centrally located in the heart of Rüttenscheid

The bright and friendly apartment is quietly located in the beautiful Rüttenscheider Mädchenviertel. The Messe Essen and the Folkwang Museum are within 5 minutes' walking distance. In the immediate vicinity, the "Rü" beckons with its diverse range of restaurants, bars and clubs – there is something for everyone. Despite the late evening hustle and bustle on the weekend on the "Rü", the studio is very quiet and you can hardly believe that you are in the middle of the action.

Quiet guest room - private entrance, private bathroom

We rent our small guest room (... it is ONE room, even if Airbnb lists the living room and bedroom separately in the pictures) with private bathroom and entrance. The room has a bed 80 x 200 cm, which can be quickly widened to 160 x 200 cm. The room is "only" about 13 square meters (plus bathroom), but otherwise has everything you need for a short stay: a closet, 2 chairs, a table, fridge, the possibility to make coffee and tea... cups, plates, cutlery ...

Vacation feeling on the green edge of the Ruhr area

The 60 m² holiday apartment is centrally located but still in a green area in popular Heisingen. Thanks to a separate entrance and check-in, you can organise your stay independently and enjoy the personal atmosphere of our home instead of a hotel room. We like the original Airbnb idea: welcoming people into our home with personality and history. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and, of course, respect your privacy. This modern two room apartment in Essen-Bergerhausen is located in a quiet neighborhood close to the Siepental park and only 15 minutes walking distance from the Ruhr river. Perfect for bicycle trips in nature. The next bus stop that takes you to the city center in roughly 10 minutes and to the Gruga in 25 min is just 4 minutes away. In this peaceful location you have everything you need, making this the perfect place for you to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

In our house in a small cul-de-sac (insofar as the address "Hauptstrasse" is misleading), we rent a closed 2-room apartment (sleeping/living area) on the first floor with a small kitchen and bathroom. The location is ideal for tourists, business people and trade fair visitors. Since 08/01/2025, the city of Essen has levied an accommodation tax of 5% and a maximum of €9 per night. This is included in the nightly rate.

Welcome to our stylish apartment in Essen! Ideal for business travelers, it offers a central location. The fair is a 10-minute walk, and the Rü with supermarkets and restaurants is only 5 minutes away. Düsseldorf Old Town is just 25 minutes away by car.
