The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Quiet room in the south of Essen, cooking facilities

Quiet room with separate entrance, bathroom with shower, cooking facilities, microwave, kettle, TV and fridge in a well-kept residential area. For energy-saving reasons, it is NOT possible to bathe. Guests can use the washing machine and dryer. The entrance through the garden is steep and not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Shopping is within walking distance. Central places are accessible by public transport. There is a private small terrace.

Quiet guest room - private entrance, private bathroom

We rent our small guest room (... it is ONE room, even if Airbnb lists the living room and bedroom separately in the pictures) with private bathroom and entrance. The room has a bed 80 x 200 cm, which can be quickly widened to 160 x 200 cm. The room is "only" about 13 square meters (plus bathroom), but otherwise has everything you need for a short stay: a closet, 2 chairs, a table, fridge, the possibility to make coffee and tea... cups, plates, cutlery ...

Vacation feeling on the green edge of the Ruhr area

The 60 m² holiday apartment is centrally located but still in a green area in popular Heisingen. Thanks to a separate entrance and check-in, you can organise your stay independently and enjoy the personal atmosphere of our home instead of a hotel room. We like the original Airbnb idea: welcoming people into our home with personality and history. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and, of course, respect your privacy. You are very welcome.

Living World Heritage Site Zollverein

The newly renovated centrally located apartment in Essen Katernberg with free Wi-Fi is a 5-minute walk from the Zollverein World Heritage Site (9 km from Grugahalle). It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and cozy sitting area. The apartment also has two bedrooms with sleeping accommodations for 4 people and a bathroom with a bathtub. Yep towels and linen all included. Private terraces and garden area.

Apartment in the countryside near the city

In our house in a small cul-de-sac (insofar as the address "Hauptstrasse" is misleading), we rent a closed 2-room apartment (sleeping/living area) on the first floor with a small kitchen and bathroom. The location is ideal for tourists, business people and trade fair visitors. Since 08/01/2025, the city of Essen has levied an accommodation tax of 5% and a maximum of €9 per night. This is included in the nightly rate.

Cozy apartment in Holsterhausen

Cozy attic apartment in the middle of Holsterhausen. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. The small apartment is a 5-minute walk from Gemarkenplatz. From there you can reach the bus and train connections in all directions. The university hospital and the vibrant "Rü" with all cafes, bars and shops are about 15 minutes' walk away. You can reach the Folkwang Museum in 5 minutes.

Welcome to our stylish apartment in Essen! Ideal for business travelers, it offers a central location. The fair is a 10-minute walk, and the Rü with supermarkets and restaurants is only 5 minutes away. Düsseldorf Old Town is just 25 minutes away by car. The apartment is equipped with a comfortable 140 cm bed, a cozy couch, a fully equipped kitchen, a desk and Wi-Fi – perfect for working or relaxing.

The apartment is centrally located between the main train station and Messe Essen. The transport connection (public transport, highway, e-scooter) is excellent and yet you are in a quiet residential area.
