The Boutique Design Farm: ANNA'S BARN

The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. Unfortunately, we are currently only allowed to accommodate guests in accordance with the 2G rule. As of 01/22/2022

Unsere kleine Wohneinheit auf 2 Etagen mit 3 Stockbetten, Bad mit WC und Dusche sowie Aufenthaltsraum mit kleiner Küchenzeile befindet sich über unserem Pferdestall. Die Pferde sind im Sommer auf der Weide, können dort aber gerne besucht werden. 2 Katzen + Hühner mit Hahn gehören zum Hof. Waschmaschine auf Anfrage. Frühstück auf Anfrage. Kein TV! Bäcker + Metzger im Dorf, Supermärkte, Apotheke +Ärztehaus im Nachbarort. Auf Anfrage können eigene Pferde mitgebracht werden (€ 15,-/Nacht).

'Auf dem Heuboden' holiday apartment Our former farm is located in Teningen, near Freiburg, a place with plenty of sunshine and a wonderful, warm climate. It is ideally located between the Kaiserstuhl and the Black Forest. Here, in the unique atmosphere of this old estate with its beautiful courtyard, life is peaceful and comfortable. The flat is on the first floor of the former hay barn. A large covered balcony invites you to enjoy a relaxing outdoor stay with a view of the garden.

Children will love our farm animals, sand pit and slide. We are in a small, quiet village in the soutern Black Forest (part of Unesco Biosphere Reserve). A small grocery shop and a Restaurant are in the village. Discover Germanies countrieside in an authentic and eco-friendly way!

The apartment is located in a former barn with a stork nest, which has been modernized. The large living and dining area is characterized by a very large ceiling height and plenty of air (4.20 m height). The fully glazed barn door brings light into the room. The bedroom (former cowshed) is located inside and is therefore particularly quiet. Other rooms: kitchen, pantry (spacious storage for suitcases, etc.), hallway, bathroom with walk-in shower.

ATTENTION: A maximum of 2 adults and 2 children up to 16 years. Originally, it was once a stable, which was then expanded in 2012 and from 01.04.2019 also gives you the opportunity to stay in a water bed. The price includes the 5% accommodation tax applicable from 1 January 2026, as well as service charges. In our traditional granary, the supplies of the Griesbach farm were once stored. After a thorough renovation, you can now stay in a modern cottage that lacks no comfort. Welcome to our charming top floor apartment with balcony! The lovingly renovated, listed former barn can accommodate 9-10 people. Each room has its own sink. A seminar room (last photos) can be booked on request (information at Eutopia Schopfheim). The train stop "Schlattholz Schopfheim" is just 5 minutes away. Basel (35 min) and Freiburg (60 min) are within easy reach and offer great destinations. An elevator is available.
