Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Grainau

Moritz’s house was wonderful. It was exactly what we needed for a family vacation to Munich. A short walk to the S Bahn station in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. He was extremely responsive and accommodating to any needs or requests we had. The house was lovely and just as described on the listing. We had a great time.

Wir waren über ein verlängertes Wochenende mit drei Kindern und drei Familien in dem Haus untergebracht und haben uns richtig wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist super, man kann tolle Wanderungen unternehmen oder zum Alpsee laufen und dort See, Eis & Spielplatz genießen. Das Tolle an der Unterkunft sind das Spielzimmer und der schöne Garten mit vielerlei Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kids. Die Räumlichkeiten sind gemütlich, sauber und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Christian und seinem Dad sind hervorragend, sie kümmern sich sehr freundlich darum, dass man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat. Gerne wieder!

Alexandra is an amazing host! She is absolutely friendly and flexible. She gave us great local recommendations and met us with juice, wine and sweets - was a nice surprise. The place has a great location. The bus stop is just nearby. It takes about 5-7 min to go up the hill to the slopes. There is a local shop nearby with all you need. The house is amazing, big, well equipped, is a great fit for three families, two tables are good to have for a big group. There are several sleds in the basement- you don’t need to take yours - save the space in the car.

Wunderschönes Haus mit Garten. Eine toll ausgestattete Küche. Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende mit sehr bequemen Betten, gemütlichen Grillabenden und super Sanitäranlagen. Ein toller Ort um einfach mal abzuschalten! Der Willkommenskuchen war sehr lecker! Vielen Dank dafür.👍🏻😊

Eine richtig tolle Unterkunft! Du machst morgens die Augen auf und siehst aus dem Bett, den Kofel. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war super, Fragen konnten sehr schnell geklärt werden. Alles in allem würden wir sehr gerne wiederkommen. Liebe Grüße aus Norddeutschland, Britta und Lars

Das Haus ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem super einladend und gemütlich gestaltet. Die Lage ist perfekt für einen Ausflug zum Hopfensee oder Schloss Neuschwanstein. Die Kommunikation mit Katja war super unkompliziert und Katja war total flexibel was den Check In anbelangt.

Wir haben das Glück gehabt diese Unterkunft noch Recht kurzfristig zu bekommen da wir uns spontan noch auf eine Reise geeinigt haben. 2 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder waren dabei. die Unterkunft bietet mehr als genug Platz um alle unter zu bekommen. Theoretisch wäre noch weiterer Platz für einen weiteren gewesen. Das Dorf in dem die Unterkunft liegt ist sehr schön. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Lech der dort langfließt lädt zu ausgiebigen Spaziergängen ein. Wunderschön die Ecke da. Alle weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten sind super einfach und schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Selbst die anfänglichen Zweifel das es kein TV in der Unterkunft gibt (hat die kleineren Teilnehmer) sehr nervös gemacht. Aber zu keinem Zeitpunkt wurde das vermisst. Alles in einem sind wir sehr froh eine Unterkunft von Micha gehabt zu haben. Die übrigens super nett und immer erreichbar ist sollte es Fragen geben. Ich bzw Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen

Schönes Haus mit genug Platz und guter Ausstattung

Thomas’s place was amazing!! Everything was very new, clean, and the views were stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed to do some cooking, the fireplace was lovely, the decks (there are 2!) were amazing to relax on and even have dinner as there was a new grill, table, and full sets dining ware for eating outside to enjoy the beautiful view. Only hard part was finding the place as you need to go up the steep road listed on the address and take a left that is not marked (and feels like you’re driving off the side of the road the first time). I will go back and hopefully bring more guests as Thomas finishes another sleeping room!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem traumhaft gelegenen Ferienhaus mitten im Wald. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir begeistert vom stilvollen Ambiente und der liebevollen & hochwertigen Einrichtung. Alles war bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Man spürt, dass hier mit Herz gestaltet wurde. Die Ruhe und die Natur rundherum haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einer echten Auszeit gemacht. Falls es möglich wäre, würden wir gerne mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ich kann die Wohnung als Ausgangsort für Wanderungen und einen erholsamen Sommerurlaub in den Bergen nur empfehlen. Die Wohnung liegt ruhig und doch ist der Dorfladen (frische Brötchen) zentral und in 2 min erreichbar, dazu gibt es einen netten Eisladen. Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung und ist für 5 Personen wirklich gut ausgestattet. Kontakt mit Julian auch bestens. Komme gern wieder.

What a lovely gem, located on the winding river path in Oberammergau. We felt right at home and the family was very hospitable. Beautiful home with updated features and awesome fenced in backyard for your pets. Peaceful, quiet stay and very walkable into the center of town. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice new apartment in a quiet place with an elevator and an underground parking. Beautiful view of the mountains and the big ski jump. Everything was fine, except: - no AC in the top floor, hot during the day, - some windows did not have sun shades or curtains, - low ceiling, - noise from occasional helicopters that were flying too low and too often.

Très bel appartement à 5 minutes des pistes de ski de fond, à 2 minutes de l’épicerie et au cœur du village de Seefeld pour profiter des restaurants et des boutiques. Tout se fait à pied. Nous pouvions communiquer facilement avec l’hôte et le logement était très propre et bien équipé. Parfait pour un séjour entre amis ou en famille. Je vous le recommande!

We stayed at Claudia's place for 6 days and it was a pleasure, she or her husband were always available if we needed anything and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Perfectly located to enjoy the Tyrol area. We will be back here!

We had a wonderful stay at Katja's home! The apartment is very spacious and open. We enjoyed all of the storage areas available for our luggage and clothing. The windows and skylights allow great natural light and air flow. The location is amazing- the perfect spot between Garmisch and Partenkirchen made it easy to meet our friends in either area. The apartment is right near the train station, bus lines and easy to walk.

We hadden een verblijf met 4 volwassen en 3 kinderen. Het huis was heel groot met ruime kamers en voldoende parking. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig en het was echt proper. Het enige minpuntje… volgend jaar is dezelfde periode al geboekt.

La casa di Annika è fantastica e la consiglio senza alcun dubbio. E' molto pulita, spaziosa, ben arredata e dotata di ogni confort. Si nota l'impegno con il quale Annika la cura. Il giardino e la terrazza offrono poi un apprezzabile valore aggiunto nel caso in cui vi sia bel tempo. La posizione è ideale perché è vicina al lago e consente di raggiungere con facilità molte altre belle località della zona. A poca distanza si trovano supermercati, negozi e ristoranti. La comunicazione con Annika è stata facile e veloce. La ringrazio molto per il bel soggiorno!

Wir waren für ein paar Tage dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und einem top Zustand, insbesondere der Kamin war ein Highlight. Gut gefallen hat uns auch die Küche, super ausgestattet und gemütlich. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren super zufrieden mit der tollen Unterkunft. Unkomplizierter Check-In und Check-Out. Zu Beginn haben wir eine Führung durchs Haus bekommen und danach konnten wir auch schon den ruhigen Garten und den schönen Ausblick von dem Terrassen-Balkon genießen. Highlight war die Möglichkeit, die traumhafte Grillhütte paar Fahrminuten entfernt zu nutzen. Meine Schwester war auch sehr glücklich über den Wellnessbereich im Keller vom Haus 👌🏻

Absolut empfehlenswert ! So eine schöne und saubere Villa habe ich schon lange nicht gesehen Die Lage ist perfekt und das beste ist der Ausblick aus dem Schlafzimmern auf die Berge. Alles war wie beschrieben und sogar im echt sieht es alles viel besser aus, als auf dem Bilder. Wir verbrachten einen außer gewöhnliches Wochenende und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nicholas’s house. The countryside is beautiful and there are totally stunning views of the mountains from the back of the house. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, and my nephew enjoyed saying hello to the chickens. The bedrooms were generously sized and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine room was essential and very welcome for our family after muddy walks. It was great how close a few walking trails were to the lake and across the moor, and the town is walkable too, with a good selection of a few local shops and larger supermarket for groceries. Even on the rainy days, the house was a very peaceful place to spend time and the large smart tv and games cupboard was a blessing for adults and toddler alike. Special thanks to the caretakers who helped make our stay especially comfortable with thoughtful recommendations and guidance when we needed it about the house.

We came and stayed at Madsen’s place for a week while attending Bauma in Munich. The place was fantastic! It was very clean and had plenty of room. It is a short walk away from a grocery store and several good places to eat. The train station is about a 15 to 20 minute walk based upon pace but it is in a very quiet and safe area. We will definitely stay here again in the future when we comeback to Munich. Thank you Madsen for being such an excellent host.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.
