Yukigo Lodge is a fully renovated traditional kominka (old Japanese house), built using traditional wooden construction techniques rooted in the local culture.You can spend some time away from your daily routine in a space with exposed beams and a calm indoor atmosphere. Furthermore, one of the highlights of Yukigo Lodge is its Goemon-style bath.To make the most of the view from the Goemon bath, it is installed outside.When using the facilities, please move a short distance outside. On the first day, you can relax after the fatigue of travelling, and on the second day, you can enjoy the luxury of doing nothing. It's a special treat for the family, unique to weekdays. Since it is a mountain forest, there are insects, but we carefully control insects in the guest house. Please understand if they enter during your stay. If you are not good with insects, etc., I think you will have a little resistance, so please book with that in mind. In winter, it gets below freezing around here. Please note that the heating facilities in this guest house are mainly kerosene stoves and kerosene fan heaters. We also have electric appliances, but if you use too much, the safety device will work (smart meter) and the electricity in the house will flash, so please do not use a lot of electric appliances at once. An earth leakage meter is also installed. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience.
