We offer free rental of a simple BBQ stand and fire pit. On bad weather days, you can play darts, Jenga, and ping-pong indoors, or visit the nearby hot springs and sauna. In the forest, insects and animals coexist. Snow can be troublesome. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
