Holiday rentals with breakfast in Japan

ものすごく温かいホストと素晴らしい朝食のお宿でした。 朝早い出発の日の朝食にも対応してくれただけでなく、散策時のお弁当までお心遣いで作ってくれました。長年主婦をやっていると、人の作ってくれたご飯が一番美味しく感じ、本当に味もサイコーでした！次もぜひ、こちらに観光に来るときにはこちらにお世話になりたいです(^o^)

Le studio de Ushka est très confortable. Il est situé entre la station de métro de Yoyogi Koen et la gare de Sangubashi. Il est donc très pratique de se rendre partout dans Tokyo. Il faut marcher 10 mm pour atteindre les transports mais la balade est plaisante. Le quartier est paisible et reposant, on dirait un village. Bons restaus vers la gare. Nous avons eu peur en arrivant parce que la voie ferrée est proche et on entend un peu le passage mais nous avons bien dormi. Volets roulants aux fenêtres pour faire le noir. Les grands lits sont parfaits et les couvertures douces ! L'appartement fait un peu plus grand sur les photos qu'en réalité mais c'est suffisant. Lave linge à disposition. Ushka vit au dessus et est présente par message immédiatement à chaque question. On se sent en sécurité. Très bonne description pour arriver facilement. Beaucoup d'épicerie, de produits de toilette à disposition. Douche agréable et grande. Wifi performant. . Nous n'avons pas vu le chat de la maison !

The house is beautiful with an amazing view and a lot of thoughtful touches! We stayed there as a halfway point while we did the shimanami kaido and it was a great spot to rest. The host also provided some food which was a nice surprise

The house was large, clean, and free of clutter. The bath area was clean as well.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described in the listing—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What truly made the experience special were the hosts. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and generous, making us feel right at home. A highlight of the stay was the wonderful barbeque service they offered—it was delicious and added a warm, personal touch to the visit. A very good stay! Japanese-style house in a quiet residential area. About 10-minute walk from the subway station, and it's relatively smooth to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, and Shibuya. The landlord speaks very good English, responds promptly, and even recommends us the red wine. The house is clean and tidy. Although it's a bit old, the facilities are very complete. The stairs are very steep, but my 50-year-old mother didn't encounter any problems. The landlord also prepared water and snacks. All in all, it was a pleasant experience! I hope to come again if I have the chance!

We have stayed in nearly 100 AirBnB lodgings over the years and Christian's rates as one of the best. It is a traditional Japanese house in a quiet, wooded area but it is just a 20 minute train ride into Kyoto. However, the best part of the stay was the host, himself, Christian. He is a friendly, helpful person. He helped carry our bags into the house and prepared a hot breakfast for us each morning. He offered to drive us to the railway station or to the shops to buy groceries but we had our own car so we were independent. A highly recommended stay.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment wohl gefühlt! Der Check-in war super einfach und kayo hat uns sogar persönlich begrüßt und uns alles gezeigt. Zudem haben wir frische Früchte von dem Pop-up Store vor dem Haus bekommen. Wenn wir wieder nach Japan kommen, werden wir versuchen wieder in die Unterkunft von Kayo zu kommen ☺️

We extended our stay at Casa Ottava twice, for a total of 13 days! It was such a convenient location, especially for exploring the Setouchi Triennale and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. The ferry port is a 15-20 minute walk away. It was also two blocks away from a local train station, which made exploring Takamatsu very easy. We took daily walks through the many covered shopping arcades, since Casa Ottava’s front steps are in an arcade. Handy on rainy days, and when you want to find some place to eat or drink, the options are almost endless … but if you are tired, the 7Eleven is right next door. The Cafe downstairs, offers their simple Western style breakfast (included in the rental price) from 6-11 am. Helpful if you have an early ferry or train to catch. Loved having a washing machine, as well. Meant our clothes were clean when we packed to go on the next leg of our trip. It is a clean, quiet, well located and maintained place to call home for a few days in Takamatsu!

As always a wonderful stay. Generous and flexible throughout. I will absolutely stay again in the future! Perfect for families with a park right in front and easy walkability to supermarkets, pharmacy, massage, etc.

Kuniko's place was amazing in so many levels. She made breakfast with love every day. The apartment is spacious and clean, with nice touches like the smart toalet and the washing machine. The tatami was surprisingly comfortable we had the best sleeps while being in Japan. We really liked the neighborhood too, with it's friendly streets and the close metro stations. I would really recommend Kuniko's place, 10/10.

Host if very friendly & gracious! Very helpful. Place is lovely, & neighborhood is peaceful! Close to the park & convenience store & walking distance from Chiyoda line's Nezu station! Will definitely book again in this place.

Le logement était irréprochable, tout était nickel à notre arrivé ! La communication avec l’hôte était super rapide. Juste la ruelle avec des bruits de klaxon la nuit un peu dérangeante mais sans plus. Pour le prix ça vaut LARGEMENT le coup ! 👍

Beau logement répondant a nos attentes. Tres surpris du déjeuner inclus a l’hotel tout près. Meilleur déjeuner de tout ceux que nous avions pu tester lors de mon voyage d’affaires! Bien situé avec beaucoup de commerces a proximité. Tres beau coin de paradis avec beaucoup de ranch dans les environs! Nous y serions restés plus longtemps!

We had the most enjoyable time here!! Everything was so homely, welcoming and comfortable. Karin and Hideko were very friendly and helpful, and my kids especially loved the cats on the property. The soba making experience with the soba master was a highlight, and the food was delicious. We would definitely stay again!!

This place is beautiful, peaceful and close to nature. Miyuki is easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is super nice, very clean and neat. The breakfast is simple yet very very homey and delicious. We wish we stayed much longer here. Locationwise is near the Gojo city so plenty of big supermarket, restaurants, etc. Recommended to drive so can explore this area better. We live the peaceful morning walk around the house. Thank you sooo much, Miyuki! Hope will be back here again in the future.

One-night stay. The accommodation corresponds exactly to the description. It's very peaceful and makes you want to stay longer. Very pleasant exchange with Jun, it was very interesting to chat with him. He was very kind to come and pick us up and drop us off at the station. He is very funny and we loved listening to his stories.

这家民宿离伊豆高原站步行8到10分钟。老板非常热情，会耐心的告诉我们周围的所有一切包括吃的玩的地方，很细心。房间干净整洁井井有条，看得出房主夫妇是很热爱生活的人，房间和院子布置的很漂亮。老板早上带我们去散步，看到了非常漂亮的海，另外早餐也很好吃，非常推荐入住

This was the best stay of our trip! The home was warm and welcoming. Chris was an excellent host; attentive, full of suggestions and recommendations, and very helpful with every request we had. It felt like we had an insider connection to this city. Big thank you!

A Soul-Soothing Stay Surrounded by Nature We spent a truly enriching week at Sumiko’s house, nestled in the peaceful nature of Motobu. At night, we fell asleep to the sound of frogs and insects, and each morning I woke up to birdsong. It was the perfect escape, where time seemed to slow down and the stresses of everyday life gently faded away. One of the absolute highlights was the breakfast that Sumiko prepared every morning. Made with seasonal/local ingredients and so full of care, each dish was comforting and delicious—it quickly became something we looked forward to every day. The room was spotlessly clean and cozy, and every little detail showed thoughtfulness and hospitality. I felt at home the moment I arrived. If I ever return to Okinawa, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much, Sumiko, for such a memorable and restorative stay!

Chieri en haar moeder en hun schattige hond zijn hele lieve hosts die er alles aan doen om je verblijf een echte authentieke Japanse ervaring te laten zijn. Hun huis is prachtig ingericht, ruim en voelt heel fijn en gastvrij. Het café en de biertuin van Chieri zijn ook zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Het eten en drinken en het gratis Japanse ontbijt waren heerlijk. En als je nog authentieke Japanse souvenirs zoekt zijn die hier ook te vinden. Al met al een perfecte plek om even tot rust te komen na het bezoeken van de drukke steden als Kyoto en Osaka.
