It is about a 10-minute drive to Arakawa and Iwabata, where you can descend the Nagatoro Line. It is dotted with historic temples, so it is recommended to visit the power spots. You can actively move your body with paragliding, kayaking, rafting, and SUP experiences, or rent a bicycle and take a leisurely ride through the town. Nagatoro has many delicious udon and soba shops. Harvesting chestnuts, grapes, Nagatoro strawberries, and more is also fun. If you're lucky, you'll see an SL train running on the Chichibu Railway, which runs parallel to the national highway! A 50-second walk from the log house, about 90 steps to the trampoline park (reservation required) where you can play with your children to your heart's content, and have an early BBQ dinner in the garden. This is Iizuna Kogen, a quiet villa area at an altitude of about 1000 m. Newly built in 2022, a simple log house with plenty of wood scent. You can see a lot of beautiful scenery just a 10-minute walk away. Please take a look at Mt. Iinoka from Oza Hoshiike. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi Ward)! It is about a 7-minute walk from the next nearest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen). You can also come by public transport. Restaurants such as Mori-no-Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenko-ji Temple.Togakushi Shrine is about 15 minutes by car. It is also a great base for golf skiing to Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. You can also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomitai Trail, and Mt. Iinago. If you'd like to visit a hot spring, it's about a 15-minute drive to Tengu-no-Yado at Lake Reisenji. You can see the lake view from the second floor of the house, and you can see the fireworks in the onsen town every day in the summer. The best part is the large, completely private garden. There are various types of flowers, trees, and fruits, so you can enjoy the scenery in all seasons, and there are also tables, chairs, and umbrellas, so you can relax in the garden. There is a municipal hot spring, Ikoi-no-Ie, located nearby (1 minute by car). You can enjoy the scenery of Lake Toyako and the hot spring baths fed by the source spring for 450 yen. You can stay with your★ pet (dogs only). The garden is a lawn, so please use it as a dog run that you have to yourself. There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.
