The 20-tatami-mat living room has a sofa, kitchen, loft, and fireplace in winter, and a relaxing space for family and friends. When you go out from the window to the terrace, you will find a terrace made to look out at the sky and sea that spreads from the sea. You can enjoy the slow flowing breeze and sky in the jacuzzi and hammock swing. From the terrace, go up one more flight of stairs to the sky deck. Only nature as far as the eye can see. A breathtaking view spreads out. You can hear the slow flow of the Izu sea and fishing boats, as well as the babbling of the brook and the sound of birds. It's the best detox. Now, go down one floor and you'll find a charcoal BBQ in the woods while listening to the babbling of the river. It's delicious, fun, and the best memory. At night, the starry sky spreads out so much that it dazzles your eyes, and if the weather is good, you can see shooting stars! You can enjoy the beauty of the sky.

Ohinata in Sakuho-town is a small village in a valley. I renovated a 80 years small wooden house by myself taking a long time. The building used to be used for raising silkworms by farms. It was our culture and industry to get silks in this area. You can have a calm time for having Coffee and beer, reading books, listening music... The village is surrounded by nature for hiking to mountains and rivers. Some local families live in around the house, so please stay like the village people.

A 130-year-old Japanese farmhouse, restored by the host, is now a private retreat. Traditional beams, tatami rooms, an irori hearth and wood stove offer an authentic yet comfortable stay. From the windows, the Central Alps and peaceful countryside unfold, and at night the sky glitters with stars. Try the fire-heated goemon bath, cook in the kitchen or over the hearth, and pick seasonal vegetables from the garden. A place to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be.

We are at country site surrounded by potato fields. You can stay at self-builded straw bale house. We have two singl beds, and very simple cooking facilities, toaster, microwave oven and a refrigerator. Tida House is good for remote work! You can watch movies on screen. Yokoya Farm is an apple farm located on a hill. 10 mins drive from downtown of Matsumoto. We’ll host you with the idea that we want you to enjoy staying at farmer’s storehouse, kura. It’s comfortable enough to stay with minimum facilities and it left the feature of the original building. (One group only for a day) You’ll enjoy to see an apple farm. *If you have small children who can sleep with you, you can make a reservation for 5 people.
