Welcome to our cozy log cabin in the Bavarian Alps. We built this log cabin with a lot of love for detail, as this is our profession. The log cabin is located near our carpentry shop and small farm and is located in the middle of the village. Please note: it is not on a mountain or on an alpine pasture. The village is alive! From your window, you can occasionally watch a new log cabin being prepared. Here you can experience country life up close!

The apartment is located in the basement and offers the perfect starting point for a vacation in the mountains – in a central location, but still in a quiet environment. Shopping, restaurants and cultural attractions can be reached quickly on foot or by public transport. Cars can be parked for free on the street. My place is right on the shore of Lake Walchensee with lots of sports for anglers, hikers, skiers - the Herzogstandbahn can be reached on foot. In addition to many possibilities, Herzogstand (the cable car is within walking distance - you have a breathtaking view), the monastery Benediktbeuern - the oldest Benedictine abbey in Upper Bavaria or the famous Neuschwanstein Castle or Linderhof Palace are interesting excursion destinations.
