An atmospheric log cabin by the lake

Relax in the peace of nature by the clear lake Kuontijärvi near the services of Ruka. The cottage (40 square meters/one-bedroom + loft) is well-equipped. The atmosphere is created by an open fireplace in the cottage. Several great activities right from the front door: in winter, the Kuontivaara ski trail passes by, and in summer, a mountain bike trail (Kouvervaara trail). The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, one semi-detached house in the same yard and one cottage consisting of three apartments.

The cottage is near Rukatunturi about five kilometers in the direction of Kuusamo, so it's perfect for those who appreciate the tranquility but those in need of Ruka services. Rukan Ski-Bus runs from the proximity/side of the cottage during the ski season. Attention! Seasonal Christmas, New Year, and Weeks 8-15 rental only Saturday-Saturday. Spacious and bright log cabin in a great location by the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi. 80m2 with 2 bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other has a 140cm extendable bed, as well as an 80cm wide top bed. The spacious kitchen also has a sofa bed. The cabin has a toilet, as well as a sauna section with a cooling terrace. Use Elisa entertainment and wifi. The shop is about 4 km away, the slopes about 5 km away and the yard, sledging trails and hiking trails can be reached from the yard. 2 valid lift tickets are included in the price.

The cottage is located close to hiking and hiking opportunities such as the Little Bear Tour (10km) and Ruka (about 18km). The cottage is electrically heated and has a composting, tidy outdoors. The water and water for use is obtained from a well with an electric pump in the yard.

Renovated semi-detached house (2br, 67sqm) in a quiet location, 5 km from Ruka. 500 m to the cross-country skiing track, 100 m to the snowmobile trail, and 4 km to the grocery store. The apartment is great for families or a group of friends. The floor plan is such that the smaller bedroom and the separate toilet are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door, so privacy is available. A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

In summer and autumn, hiking and mountain bike trails can be accessed from the nearby terrain. In winter and spring, you can access the well-maintained ski slopes and snowmobile trails of Ruka from the yard of the cottage.
