Relax in the tranquility of nature on the shores of the clear-watered Kuontijärvi, close to Ruka's services. The cottage (40 sqm/two rooms + loft) is well equipped. The atmosphere is created by an open fireplace in the living room. Several great activities right from the front door: in winter, the Kuontivaara ski loop passes by, and in summer, the mountain biking route (Kouvervaara loop). The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, with one semi-detached cottage and one cottage consisting of three apartments in the same yard.

Spacious and bright cabin in a great location near the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi. 80m2 with 2 bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other has a 140 cm extendable bed, as well as an 80 cm wide bunk bed. The spacious kitchen also has a sofa bed. The cottage has a toilet, as well as a sauna section on the cooling terrace. Elisa entertainment and Wi-Fi are available. The store is about 4 km away, the slopes are about 5 km away, and the yard, sledding trails, and hiking trails are accessible from the yard. 2 continuously valid lift tickets are included in the price.

Villa Pihla

Villa Pihla is a well-equipped half of a twin cottage for 4 people in Ruka, 2 km from Rukakylä. Despite the proximity to Ruka, the location is quiet and offers the guest beautiful forest and mountain scenery. The main skiing, mountain biking and snowmobiling trails start 200m walking distance from the cottage. The rental price does not include final cleaning. As an additional service, you can buy linen and towels for 30 euros/person and final cleaning for 100 euros. The cottage is not suitable for people with animal allergies. Welcome!

In addition to the half 64.5 sqm of Kelopar house, a spacious loft of about 20 square meters, which makes the cottage size remarkably more spacious (see photos). The cottage is near Rukatunturi about five kilometers in the direction of Kuusamo, so it's perfect for those who appreciate the tranquility but those in need of Ruka services. Rukan Ski-Bus runs from the proximity/side of the cottage during the ski season. Attention! Seasonal Christmas, New Year, and Weeks 8-15 rental only Saturday-Saturday. Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.
