The Little Secret

We welcome you to our "Maison du Gardien" ( The Caretaker’s House) a 19th Century distiller's house which has been lovingly renovated to create a place of contemporary design, contemplation and relaxation. Located next to our own home you can enjoy an evening meal on your own private terrace but also get the use of our pool, gym, bikes and parking on our gated property. The two bedroom house is light and airy with beautiful views over our garden which reaches down to the river Charente.

With it's own private terrace overlooking the river and a twenty metre swimming pool, the park also contains formal gardens, rose walk and stone steps down to the river. Located in the heart of a picturesque village, surrounded by vineyards, the house is a short walk to a Michelin starred restaurant and local bar. The Cognac Golf course is a 3 minute drive.

Located in a quiet environment, annex of our main house, not overlooked, in a cul-de-sac with forest, you can park for free in front of the accommodation without worries. You will be awakened by the songs of the birds while being close to the N10 (1 min by car) and 3 min from the city center (by car) or 5 min by bus. Close to all shops (supermarket, bakery, tobacco and pharmacy).

You can freely enjoy the park, the pond and the pool area located on the edge of the woods (swimming pool from June to September).
