Cabin holiday rentals in Midden-Drenthe

We had a cozy time at Aaron's cabin. The sounds of the campsite immediately bring you into a holiday atmosphere. The cottage is located in a lane in a shady place. If the evening got too fresh, we lit the fire under the hot tub and warmed up there. Don't expect luxury, but definitely a cozy stay in a beautiful green area. De Vecht and a beautiful forest lake for swimming are nearby. We also went to Germany for an afternoon. Aaron is warm and ready immediately if you have a question.

Rob’s place is great, the terrain around the house is super large and was perfect for my dogs. Rob was a great, welcoming host, offered help when needed and respected my privacy.

Had a very nice stay. Host was quick to respond to questions and fixes. Location was a little more difficult to find based on the address but doable. The house is very nice and nicely decorated just a little noisy. We really enjoyed our friends weekend in this stay and would definitely come back!

The cabin was a little haven. Perfect for a girls weekend. It felt very cozy and it was well equipped.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. It was so cosy, relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed walking in the countryside and walked to a lovely restaurant up the road one night. We were within a 20 min driving distance to Groningen. The beds were comfy, there was heating so we were warm, plenty hot water and everything you would need in the kitchen. I recommend staying here and look forward to staying here again when we are back in the area.

Everything simple and uncomplicated, beautiful fresh flowers on the table to welcome you, everything as described. The cabin is great, and thanks to the wooden oven, which was also lovingly prepared to light, it was also quickly comfortably warm. Supply of wood was provided in the neighboring shed, thank you very much for that.

It was a perfect stay for my days in Assen. Short walk to get a bus to Assen Center. In the cottage was everything you need. I very recommend to stay here.

Had a wonderful stay (despite the sad reason; funeral) in the middle of the forest. Dog also enjoyed it and was happy with 2 fireworks-free days and nights. Was ample of everything, so do not wash dishes immediately. Grateful!

Cabin as described. Clean and well maintained. The contact was positive and quick. We enjoyed the holiday in the cozy cottage.

Stayed for one week at Huuske Woeste Wolden. Beautifully located cottage at the end of a cul-de-sac (private) road. Got clear information in advance about how to get in and some facts about the cottage. Cottage itself is neat and fully furnished with a kitchen with everything you need in it. The garden around the cottage is nice and large. Nice place to stay.

I will come back anytime...it was incredibly beautiful and a super energy on the small campsite. A place to recharge. Thank you love Marlene 🥰

Our stay in the Scottish hut was very soothing. We were there during the New Year. This year, the staphorsters celebrated the turn of the year on the 30th instead of the 31st because of the day of rest on Sundays. This made for a wonderfully quiet turn of the year. You could still see fireworks in the distance, made possible by a great view that the Scottish hut has to offer. the "modern" wood-burning stove provided a pleasant temperature and a warm atmosphere. Relaxing and recharging the new year was exactly what we came for and that worked out more than well. Certainly repeatable!

We stayed with our family (with 4 adult children) in Zwanet's cottage for 2 nights. We really enjoyed it. Upon arrival we were surprised with garlands and delicious chocolates due to 2 birthdays. Very thoughtful. The cottage was as the pictures portrayed. Cozily furnished, nice sofa, good beds and a complete kitchen inventory. Glad you can use all the facilities of the park. We rented bikes for a day and the children were just the swimming pool. Communication with Zwanet was very good. She always responded quickly and kindly. We will definitely recommend this cottage to family or friends and who knows, we might come back again.....

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin the woods. We biked to town every morning for coffee. It was quiet and peaceful. Did evening walks in the woods.

Beautiful and cozy accommodation. The photos reflect the place very much. Aagje is very nice and helpful. The surroundings are idyllic and you can quickly get to Groningen by car and can explore the region excellently. We were there for a few days in November. It was very cozy with the log fire. The caravan is fully equipped and spacious. There's nothing missing. At night, when the fire is out, it can get cold in the caravan quickly. There are electric heating blankets in the beds. The heating blankets helped well against the cold, but with an extra heater for the bedroom it would have been better. The caravan is on the premises of a beautiful farm where there are horses. From the living room, you have great views of the countryside and watch horses on the paddock. All in all a great place to stay and recommended.

we were brought the last bit over the sandy path because our car was not suitable for that (it had rained a lot), because of this it immediately felt like we were really gone. The area is beautiful, lots of peace and space and opportunities to go into nature. The cottage was a cozy place to return after an autumn walk with a fireplace and candles on. The kitchen is very complete also with herbs/oil/tea/utensils and nice crockery. We loved our stay!

We visited the place Giethoorn and then stayed at Geesje's place for a night. It was all exactly as described, the small cozy cabin is right by the yard, the shared toilets and showers just a few meters away. There's even a common space. Geesje greeted us personally and made us breakfast the next morning. The place is quiet and idyllic, the barbecue restaurant (2 min away) is highly recommended.
