It is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday including a utility room with washer and dryer. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, wooden beams and looks out onto a green valley. The large living room has a corner sofa, smart TV and superfast broadband. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings and reversible air-conditioning. The perfect home from home!

Ecological unique historic water reserve

Perfect for nature lovers, this ecological retreat beside our wildflower meadow is the perfect place to unwind. Our unique former water reserve in the grounds of our C18 wine chateau has been lovingly transformed into a 32m2 off-grid bed and breakfast suite with a king bed, shower room/toilet, private terrace and equipped outdoor kitchen. Guests can enjoy all of our other facilities including our stunning heated pool and grounds. Not suitable for children, pets or those with reduced mobility.

Guest house

The perfect tranquil destination for family or friends, this charming 17th century traditional stone cottage offers delightful accommodation for up to six people. Hidden away at the end of a quiet country lane in southern Charente, it is situated along the lower southern boundary of Les Chauvins, with its own entrance and private courtyards to front and back. A large pool nestles within the stone walls of a former barn and the grounds offer ample places to play, relax and enjoy the views.

Recently renovated, retaining its traditional rustic charm - the perfect place to relax and unwind. It has its own entrance, kitchen, dining and living room space with original stone Charantais fireplace and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The large windows take advantage of the stunning countryside views and spectacular sunrises. If you are a fan of wildlife you will not be disappointed with regular visitors of deer, red squirrels, migrating cranes and a favourite of ours, the hoopoe.

Welcome to Ferme du Pont de Maumy In an authentic and warm vintage spirit, the Maumy Bridge Cabin is the perfect place to let yourself be carried away by an exotic experience. Built in an eco-friendly way and entirely of burnt wood, its atypical style will not leave you indifferent. You will enjoy its large terrace and stunning views of the pond on sunny days, as well as its interior with its soft and cozy atmosphere, and its wood-burning stove for your long evenings.

Enjoy a stylish and central place, close to all shops, bars, restaurants, squares, in the historic center. View towards the Dronne and the castle. 500 meters from the campsite and beach, tennis court, canoeing and kayaking and several hiking trails to the neighboring towns. The house has a dining room, kitchen and toilet on the ground floor and upstairs a balcony with panoramic views, shower room, toilet, a master bedroom and two small bedrooms for three children.

Country House

Le Laurier is located in the countryside of southern Charente, it is a traditional stone house completely renovated and comfortable with a closed and wooded courtyard in the middle of meadows, woods and fields! Not adjoining, not overlooked. Hiking trails. A secondary road of the Chemin de Compostelle passes in front of the house You will find on my profile a Guide (emblematic places, leisure, gastronomy, events...) a lot of ideas to discover the region!

Large cottage + heated pool, covered

At the "Domaine de Champ rose" (cottage) you can rest in the calm and the countryside of the south-Charente in our large charming cottage (18th century castle). We'll give you a family-friendly welcome and guide you on things to do in the area. To relax, we are equipped with a private, year-round covered and heated pool, large shaded park, game room and library, as well as a bocce court. We accept a maximum of 18 people. No pets.
