If you go straight on the narrow road of the idyllic village and feel the majestic Yatsugatake nature on your left, 8 weeks Quriu is almost there.With its stone exterior, Villa is nostalgic and open. I took over the building, which has been a small hotel for 20 years, and has made a new start as an entire one-floor accommodation. After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. You will be staying in a freestanding house surrounded by 120 hectares of quiet forest. The house is located inside a highland resort in the Yatsugatake area at an altitude of 1400 meters.Staying between the mountains and beautiful nature will revitalize you mentally and physically. A perfect place to relax. Access: 2 1/2 hours by train from Shinjuku by JR(chuo main line). (e.g. Shinjuku 13:00 → Kobuchizawa 15:00 (15:06) → Kiyosato 15:30. The backyard deck view of the birds’ daily visit to the birdbath will make you feel healed and relaxed.
