Here you live in a newly-renovated timber house 25 m from the shore of Lake Storsjön. The ground floor (with underfloor heating) has a modern fully-equipped kitchen adjacent to the living room. Bathroom with shower. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, the largest has a double bed. In the other bedrooms there is a 120 cm and a 90 cm wide bed. Extra beds are available. The guests clean up after themselves.

Relax, dive into the lake or why not put on cross-country skis outside the door in the winter? When Storsjön roars, you can light the fire & look out through the panoramic windows & enjoy Oviksfjällen on the horizon. A nice one-room apartment (15 sqm) with kitchenette and bathroom (shower and washing machine) located on a lake plot in Lugnvik with lovely views of Storsjön and its own dock. The apartment is separate with its own entrance. The furniture includes a sofa bed, small table and two chairs, kitchenware, and a small sink and refrigerator. A set of bed linens and towels are included. Biking distance to Östersund city center (about 5 km) and good bus connection is available. Free parking for one car in the yard. Regards Johan

The newly built small guest house is located on Birka Strand in Ås, about 10 km outside Östersund. The view is beyond the ordinary with a view of the big lake and Oviksfjällen. Smart and efficiently planned space. In the house, there is a wood stove and wood. Sleeping loft 180 cm bed, large bathroom with underfloor heating and shower. Our modern log house is situated right on a lakeshore. The open-concept design with lots of wood and light creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.

Something happens to us when we take the time to just be. To live a somewhat simple life for a while, without having to do without any modern conveniences. To let go of everyday worries, put your mobile phone aside and allow yourself to be enchanted by your surroundings. Lighting a fire, canoeing, looking out over the water's edge from the edge of the bed as even the beaver can swim by sometimes, make coffee and cook over an open fire.
