Bryggstuga on the vicarage

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. Move into the old school cafeteria where the church's students ate their school lunch during the day in the 40s and 50s. The wood stove that crackles in the kitchen is the same one on which the mother cooked lunch. She lived upstairs and we offer her kitchen with adjoining bedroom and bathroom. Quiet and peaceful in the old timber building. Outside, you can enjoy the mountain view or visit Frösön's beautiful church, which is next to the rectory where the host couple live with their dogs and cats.

Right next to the beach of Storsjön is Östersund's most central beach plot Villa Alpnäs. Cozy loft apartment with private entrance in a quiet location on Frösön. Well-equipped kitchen, sleeping alcove, wood-burning stove, access to private beach, kayak, bicycles and fishing opportunities. Very close to Frösöberget's climbing wall and lookout over beautiful Östersund. 15 min walking distance to the city center, you pass Frösön marina, playgrounds and surf bay.
