Holiday rentals with a sauna in Østfold

A beautiful apartment very close to the water, very quiet and peaceful, walking distance to a lovely cafe and a hotel with bowling. The sauna was delightful. The apartment had lovely fittings, was extremely comfortable and had loads of utensils. The surrounding area is beautiful and the host always gave prompt answers and was extremely helpful. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful holiday in Jonas and Renate's cabin. Stunning views and an ideal base for visiting Oslo. Tips for future guests: Planning to visit Oslo? Park your (rental) car at Hauketo station. (no parking fees) From there it's a 10 minute train ride to the city center. Download the Ruter app for public transport. Very easy to pay. Kiwi is the nearest supermarket and just as good as Rema 1000, which is a bit further away. In Oslo, it's fun to do a 3 hour bike tour (Baja) to get to know the city. Also book a sauna session in one of the floating saunas in Oslo's harbor and take a refreshing dip in the sea. (Kok or Badstuforening) If you're coming with an electric car, you can download the Charge365 app. It's best to do this in advance, as you'll need to add a payment method. At the charge point, you can't scan a QR code; instead, you have to manually enter an ID. The ID is displayed on the charge point.

The stay with Marius was just great! 🌟 From the first second we felt like at home. The surroundings are beautiful, you can go hiking, the fjord is just a few minutes' walk away ❤️ The hangover in the apartment is super sweet and cuddly 😍 The apartment is really nicely furnished, we lacked nothing. Everything perfectly clean! We were very happy to use the pool outside 😁 I can really highly recommend this AirBnb to everyone, host Marius was always super available for all questions and concerns. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We stayed for a week on a family trip with 4 adults and 5 children (aged 1-5) and the place was just perfect for that - lots of room for everyone, toys (even costumes) and an outside playarea for the kids. As this is Einar and Stephanie's actual home, they have everything You need - laundry facilities, fully equipped kitchen, dining area with enough plates, glasses and cutlery for everybody. They even have a gym and a sauna, not to mention the pool table and a cosy fireplace. Everything is well described and detailed in the listing, Stephanie was very helpful in the messages, too. The location is rural, You do need to keep this in mind. There is one local diner and one cafe, for anything else You do need to travel by car (30 minutes to Oslo), by train (15 minutes to Oslo) or bus (15 minutes to Ski). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would easily recommend it!

Iselin was so nice, friendly, and helpful. We loved her place so much that we could easily stay there forever. One of the top places in the area, you would have absolutely everything for a memorable stay. Our deepest gratitude for having us. Thanks again for having us!

Worth all the money!!

Jon was a fantastic host, who was always available for questions. He was very friendly and took fantastic care of us. The accommodation was in a great location, so we could enjoy the tranquility on the river. The facilities in the house left nothing to be desired. On the first day, Jon even brought us eggs, which we could then enjoy for breakfast every day. Jon also offered us the use of the canoes or fishing. All in all, the accommodation and Jon are fully recommended as a host. We would definitely come back !

Cheerful host, responds quickly and is available when you need him. The place was nice but the bobble bathroom had yellow water so we were over to use it. Otherwise it was clean and nice.
