Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Packwood

We stayed as a group of two families - 4 adults and 5 kids. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog with us. It rained almost our entire stay, so we weren’t able to do as many Outdoor activities as planned, but it meant we were able to really use all the activities provided in the bunkhouse - puzzle, board games, video games, etc. There is a market, a brewery and a coffee shop all within blocks, so it was super easy to pick up any supplies we forgot. The house is a little dark, we found ourselves wishing for a little more light. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. We did end up purchasing more paper towels and some ziplocks. The double oven was very helpful. Some larger sheet pans would have helped to be able to cook for such a large group, but we just did things in batches. Overall we highly recommend this place and hope to return someday.

LOCATION! The cabin is right next to the entrance of Mt Rainier which was ideal for us. the cabin is private and very cozy and we enjoyed our stay. Cabin had all you need inside ,had some trouble with the handheld shower, kept turning cold and regular shower head had very low pressure but we made it work. We loved the fire pit area and used it every night, however, keep in mind it's a very small fire pit, almost too small and didn't fit the logs in quite well which made it difficult to light. we had to purchase firestarters to get it going. The hot tub was a little further than we would have liked (across the street) but it was okay. We did enjoy it after hiking in the snowy cold mountain. The outdoor shower did not work by the hot tub and the cold bath was dirty and empty but I'm assuming that's because of the winter season. The small back porch that was outside of the bedroom was a lovely addition but wish it had a proper seating area. Overall, we enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Nice peaceful, quiet, and relaxing place to stay. Friendly host. Plenty of things to do inside the house with a game room. The WiFi works nicely, and plenty of movie apps on the tv. The coffee bar is a nice addition to the house as well. Neighbors are friendly if and when you see them. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, privacy, with a nice view of the mountains give the Randle retreat a try. I will definitely keep this place on my rotation of places to visit. Thanks again Will. I booked this place while I was on a trip with my parents. We really loved this place. It has a hot tub and sauna. They also have a bunch of board games, DVDs and games for XBOX. Would definitely visit again.

This cute little cabin was everything we needed for a night away in the woods! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. Everything was just as described. Thanks for a great stay!

Patt’s place was wonderful, and such a cozy home to return to after hiking! The little notes around the home were super clear- easy check-in, huge comfy bed, easy check out. The heaters totally warmed us up after freezing winter hikes. We loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting Ashford or Ranier. Minutes away from the park entrance, and such a serene, private cabin!

This was our third stay at Tina’s place. Still one of our favorites. Super clean, excellent communication and so chic comfy. We love it!

Very clean —- comfortable and well cared for….. Excellent kitchen with everything you need…….. Easy instructions - we settled right in…..no problems!

Comfortable home with everything our family of 5 adults needed for a long weekend. Cozy beds, well-stocked kitchen, amazingly warm fireplace, and a roomy hot tub. Two things I would call out about the house: (1) while the property comfortably sleeps 8 (9 if you count a small child’s bed in the loft) there is only one bathroom…but it’s beautiful. (2) the stairs up to the loft bedroom are steep, narrow and tight, and there’s not much to hold on to. I would not recommend putting small children in that room since they could easily fall out.
