Location, Location, Location… Qualicum feels like a quaint beach town and always delivers that deep restoration that vacation promises. The only thing missing is a proper spot to relax on privately manicured sand and enjoy sipping away the afternoon listening to the waves crash. Well, problem solved. The place was great and had everything you would need for a quick stay. We liked the Murphy bed and to have two couples or a few kids would work thanks to the additional flexibility of the sofa. It was cool enough at night and first thing in the morning to enjoy the fireplace and scenery while eating at the table. The bathroom was very clean and completely adequate for getting ready in the morning. Everything was easy and the entire experience was painless. A very special thanks to Mischa & Svein for making this incredible spot available on AirBnB. Two thumbs up, would recommend!

Shane’s place was great! Very conveniently located, about 15-20mins to the water and restaurants. Their communication was quick and proactive. There were lots of lawn games we used in the HUGE backyard. Thanks for a great stay!

I was looking for a quiet retreat between visiting family and friends and this met my needs. Stayed for a month. Cozy and tastefully decorated. Beautiful king size bed with linen sheets. The kitchenette area easily accommodated my simple meal needs. Large bathroom. Hosts were very respectful of my privacy but accommodating with requests. Even got to star gaze at night with little light pollution. Thank you Russ and Sandi.
