BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. The sunny southwest terrace and the luxurious modern full equipment combined with antique elements create an extraordinary feel-good ambiance.

Welcome to Gut Rachut. A few years ago, I fulfilled my dream of living in the countryside – now also together with my husband, Thomas. This pretty little spot is located between Lübeck and Kiel – in the heart of beautiful Holstein Switzerland – and is also just a stone's throw from the Baltic Sea. The former kitchen building has been transformed into a cosy holiday cottage – and we would like to invite you to be our guests.

Our terrace with barbecue facilities, a ping-pong table, a swing, a swimming area with rowboat, as well as a chicken coop offer fun for young and old.

Our beautiful official house is the former residence of the Duke of Oldenburg and is located in the back part of our estate, surrounded by greenery overlooking fields and meadows. The rooms are spacious and tastefully designed and even with many people you will always find your own retreat to breathe. A huge, private garden with terrace and garden furniture awaits you, adjacent to our horse pasture.
