Good connection to Cologne: by car about 20–35 minutes (depending on the destination and traffic), by bus and train about 50 minutes (departure every 20 minutes) to Cologne main station. Shopping, gastronomy and cultural offerings are partly within walking distance or quickly accessible by car. Climbing forest K1 is within walking distance. Fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, living room, hallway and bathroom with walk-in shower.

Welcome to the lovingly renovated apartment of our 250-year-old half-timbered house. It offers cozy half-timbered charm + modern amenities. For hiking | cycling tours through the beautiful countryside, forests + meadows as well as attractive excursion destinations are right outside the door. Nearby (3 km) are shops + restaurants that offer German + international cuisine. For shopping, sightseeing or for trade fair visitors, Cologne is within easy reach thanks to the excellent connection to the highway + public transport.

Welcome to this spacious and serene space. The location is beautifully rural at the gates of Cologne and well connected: bus stop outside the door, train station within walking distance in 10 minutes (RB25: Cologne main station or Deutz Messe 25 minutes, airport 20 minutes). Self check-in, separate entrance. It is a large space plus bathroom with marble shower. Ideal for 1 to 3 people. With an additional mattress, 4 people can easily stay overnight. Equipped with all amenities and a small library.

A spacious living area features a large sectional sofa adorned with blue cushions. A coffee table sits centrally, complemented by a decorative pouf. A variety of wall art, including a lion and world maps, enhances the atmosphere, while a plant adds a touch of greenery.

Large bright apartment quiet right by the forest, for 2 persons (double bed), 1 - 2 children can additionally sleep on the couch in the living room. Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, large bedroom, each a plasma TV in living room and bedroom, bathroom with shower, tub and toilet, guest toilet, free parking, terrace to the forest, modern furniture, smoking corner on the terrace ( please do not smoke in the apartment ). The apartment is not suitable as a craftsman accommodation for more than 1 guest.

Sauna Mediterana, Hotel Schloss Bensberg, Naturarena Bergisches Land, hiking, biking. Village Herkenrath with super market, fast food, restaurants 11, bus stop 4 min to walk. No breakfast.

My place is close to Cologne (about 20 km) - at the gates of the Bergisches Land. The property can be reached by bus and S-Bahn from Cologne in 40 minutes with one change. The bus stop is 30 meters from the house. You'll love my place because of the wide range of uses in the area (Cologne Fair, art and culture, Naturarena Bergisches Land). My place is great for couples, solo travelers, adventurers, and business travelers. Unfortunately, no pets are permitted.

Airy gable apartment for a break in the countryside

The minimalist design makes the apartment a place of rest. Forest and meadow border the small mountain village and give the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Our nearby “Windbusch” - the local “mountain” - offers one of the distant views for which our area is so much appreciated. From up here you can't see Cologne Cathedral, but at least the Siebengebirge. The proximity to Cologne makes our village particularly attractive, as the city is only 30 km away.

From the spacious balcony you have a beautiful view of the countryside, Bensberg Castle, as well as (of course in the distance) Cologne and even Cologne Cathedral. The property is perfect for a trip to Cologne, the Bergisches Land or for a wellness weekend in nearby Mediterana.
